a1) What is your in-game (RP) name?
a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile.
a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234)
a4) What timezone are you located in?
a5) How many in-game warns do you have?
a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why?
a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where?
Yes. I have actually staffed on Xeno DarkRP servers before. Also, I have staffed on Hearthigen JB and a shut down Sandbox Server.
Please answer these questions with your honest opinion.
b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP?
I’d like to volunteer for XenoRP for a variety of reasons. The first being that I enjoy it. In the past I was on the staff team and I had a blast. I only resigned due to lack of time availability. I now believe I have more than enough time. The second being that I believe i’m a good staff member. I’m unbiased when it comes to sits, I know how the ticket system works, I have good social skills, and am a well rounded staff member when it comes to it. My final reason being that the server always needs a helping hand. At times there is only one staff member or maybe just one staffing. I believe I could step up, even when others don’t, and chose staffing over RPing.
b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator?
As stated before, there are many reasons I would be a good moderator. I like to think i’m unbiased, can stay calm and focused under pressured situations, and can treat others with respect even when disrespected. I also have lots of experience as a staff member, including on the XenoRP server itself. I know how to handle a sit quick and efficiently.
Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions:
c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished.
RDM- Stands for random death match and this means you kill someone without any valid reason.
EX. Killing someone because they said fuck you.
They would be punished with a warning. If they do it more than three times they would be banned for mass rdm/minge for 3-5 days.
RDA-Stands for random arrest and this means being arrested for no reason.
EX. Arresting someone for saying “i like cars” and getting mad because them not capitalizing their I.
They would be punished with a warn. After three times in an hour they would be banned for minge for 3-5 days.
c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated.
The textbook definition of “NLR” is that it means New Life Rule. NLR takes effect when you have died in anyway. When you die, you forget everything in your past life. This could be violated by going back to the scene of death while the raid is still going or before the 2 minute timer is up. Another violation would be killing the person who killed you.
c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence.
Metagame- When one takes RP elements and turns them into non-RP elements or vice versa. Some examples are using information based on non-realistic knowledge, scamming, remembering anything from your past life, killing yourself to intentionally avoid conflict between another person(mugs), sitting destroyed or flaming vehicles props or entities to avoid combat, and not having real reasons behind their actions.
Please explain how you would handle each of these situations:
d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react?
I would tell them to stop. I would also try to gather evidence and then report it to the appropriate people to have them dealt with.
d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation?
I would first jail the Mass RDMer. I would then tell the people in the sit to hold tight. If they run away from the sit they will deal with heavier consequences. I would handle the Mass RDMer appropriately (ban them), and go back to the original sit.
d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets.
The player count does not matter. They are disobeying rules and shall be dealt with accordingly. (Telling them to delete the props and a verbal or potentially a warning.)
(p.s., I love you guys)
