FearRP statement within the rules

Recommended Posts

FearRP is commonplace in many roleplay servers and is often discouraged and simply not allowed at all. However, in our server, FearRP is not mentioned anywhere in rules. Despite this, there are still some situation where it is treated to not be okay. For example, if you were to kill a police officer for simply walking towards you with a tazer out, you still cannot kill them until they attempt to taze or arrest you.

To resolve this, I think FearRP should be explicitly stated in the rules to not be allowed. This would further discourage FairRP altogether and would stop it entirely. Without FearRP, situations would be more fair for others and would generally enhance the fun roleplay experience.

I look forward to hearing everyone's feedback on this.

Hey Joseph, thanks for your suggestion.

I strongly agree with what you say in this topic. FearRP should be a factor in our MOTD, I mean, it seems pretty ridiculous when you are allowed to kill the person mugging you, or when you kill a cop that is weapon searching you when it's legal.

As I agree with your topic, and that it will level out the MOTD more, I give this topic a +1.

-1 Adding FearRP to the server would break many rules and not allow players to have a fair chance, You don't know if someone who is a citizen could possibly be a war veteran or anything and that makes them less prone to listen to their mugger and allow them to shoot you. FearRP has only caused me to not like server's being too uptight when it comes to what you can and can defend, it's still a video game and its not real life so feel free to kill your attacker's as you wish
