 I have been banned once for Soft / Silent Aimbot. It was false and has since been removed.

a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? 

 I haven’t had any prior staffing experience.

b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP?

XenoRP is the only darkrp server that I find myself coming back to play on time and time again. The interactions with other players are some of the best I've had in all my time playing Garry's Mod. I want to help keep this server fun for all to play on so others can have the same experiences.

b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator?
I have a high level of patience and activity, I believe that if I were to be made trial moderator, I would have the proper amount of patience to be able to calmly handle the situation, and resolve the incident. Whether its with people who are asking questions regarding the rules, or people that are having issues with other players, I believe I would be able to successfully help the players involved and resolve the issues at hand if there were one present. My schedule allows me to be extremely active; I can be on at odd hours of the day which allows me to be able to help players on at different time zones. I tend to examine the facts fully before I make a verdict in every scenario I am put in, and as such, believe that my decision making will be good enough to come up with a clean verdict on the situation.

 

Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions:

 

c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished.

RDM stands for Random Death Match, it happens when someone kills another player without a valid RP reason. For example, if a player killed someone because they were too close to them they would receive a warn. If they RDM numerous times they can be banned for Mass RDM or Repeated RDM.

RDA stands for Random Death Arrest, it occurs when an officer arrests someone without a valid RP reason. For example if an officer arrested someone for having a gun even if there isn't a law prohibiting guns. The officer will be warned if done once. if done numerous times they can be banned for Mass RDA or Repeated RDA.

 

c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated.

NLR stands for New Life Rule which states that upon death you cannot return to the location for two minutes and must forget everything that happened in a previous life.

Examples of NLR are 

- Officers dying during a PD raid and coming back.

- players who died while attempting to raid a base coming back to try again.
- players who died during a raid and came back before the raid is adverted over.

The punishment for NLR is a warning unless the player has broken NLR many times, they will instead be banned for Mass NLR or Repeated NLR.

c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence.

Metagaming is the act of using information that you would not have in a real life scenario.

Examples of metagaming are

- Telling your friend in discord where you are so he can rescue you from a kidnapping.

 - Using voice chat or text chat to see who is in a base.

 - Using a car’s third person mode to see inside bases.

 

Please explain how you would handle each of these situations:

 

d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react?

I would record their actions and present it to an admin or the owners.

d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation?

If there are any other staff online I will ask them to deal with the Mass RDMer. If there isn't any other staff I will tell whoever is in the sit to please wait while I jailtp him and give a two week ban for Mass RDM. Then I will return to the sit and continue on where we had left off at.

d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets.

The rules still apply regardless of how many people are online. I will warn them both verbally to stop and suggest they switch to hobo so they can build on the sidewalks. If they continue to build in the streets they will receive a warn for prop minge.
