Early today while I was playing I was trying to figure out a way to be more flexible as mayor instead of a sort of stock figure.
My biggest suggestion I'd like to push for is allowing more roleplay flexibility into the mayors job. I.e allowing some sort of underhanded dealing of some sort. Mostly how I mean is there seems to be a very black and white allowed things for mayor. It seems as though there's no room for any sort of roleplay to truly be experienced, the laws able to be passed are slim and don't vary roleplay in the slightest. I understand not being able to pass laws pertaining to certain jobs or people. Yet at the same time it seems as though there should be room for more "corrupt" actions. I don't mean at all in the sense of having to pay the mayor to walk around the streets. more in the sense of the mayor taking bribes for looking the other way on certain crimes.
The biggest problem I experienced when I went mayor is there was a severe lack of interest relating to what I was able to do. Many laws got removed or reset when the goal wasn't to limit gameplay but to try and enhance experience of police officers vs the whole crime role. At the moment the police seem to only be a job as so far as to prevent bank heists.
Could be way off, just my 2 cents
