I have plenty ranging from old servers (I was like 14 lol) I have also been staff on TritonRP, all YTF servers, I have coded several servers and owned my own AtoculusRP (Which is shut down due to finance issues). I have been an Administrator on ProtectionRP (When it was a thing)
Please answer these questions with your honest opinion.
b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP?: I find the server appealing and I see the high amount of regular players opposed to staff and I want to help! I love the server and I want to see it grow and grow and grow!
b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator?: Well, first off, I have plenty of experience ranging from Trial-Moderator to Owning my own servers. I've coded, I've had over 500+ hours of "Staff experience", excluding the hours put into coding and designing servers. I also reach out to the community to make it better and look out for the little players that want to get into playing for their first time. Because we all understand how hard it is.
Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions:
c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished: RDM is defined as "Random Death Match" the act of killing another player or players without cause or reason. This leads to problems with role play and additional player conflict which we don't want. "Mass RDM" is the act of a minge (I say minge because well that's what they are) killing more than one player without cause or reason, resulting in MASS RDM. RDA is Random Arrest. The act of which a player in a government job or one that has the ability to jail another player abuses their power and arrests players without cause or reasons, the same can be said about "Mass RDA" which is when the player who is abusing their power arrests multiple innocent players without cause or reason. These acts can be punishable by but not limited too, Jailing the player, Warning the player, Kicking the player (If absolutely necessary, most likely in "MASS" situations.), Banning the player (The final call/decision that must be made if a player is absolutely out of control)
c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated: NLR which is defined as "New Life Rule" means if a player dies he cannot interact with his "Past Life" A few examples are a raider raids someones base and kills the owner of the base. The owner comes back immediately after they've been killed and interact/kill with the raider. That's NLR. or Say YOU'RE the raider and you are raiding with a friend/party. You die mid raid but come back to the raid without waiting the proper time limit. That's NLR.
c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence: Metagaming can occur throughout roleplay/non-roleplaying situations. Many times in can happen by using OOC chat for the wrong reasons. OOC is for Out Of Character chat and is sometimes miss used and will be used for role playing purposes. Another example of metagaming is a dead player relaying information to a player that is still alive (This typically happens during raids/pd raids/etc. )
Please explain how you would handle each of these situations:
d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? : Report the destructive behavior IMMEDIATELY! I gather any evidence I can for further down an investigation and I try talking to the Staff Member in hopes they will calm down/stop their behavior.
d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation?: I immediately stop what im doing and freeze them, jail them, etc. I then get another staff members help to calm down the situation(s) around us. Starting with the Mass RDM.
d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets.: Verbally warn them to not do this again as it is against server rules and to remove the props in due time, tell them what the MOTD says and that this won't be tolerated again.
