Please answer these questions with your honest opinion.
b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP?
I love the server and would love to contribute to it!
b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator?
I can be very mature and reasonable In situations.
Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions:
c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished.
RDM is when a player randomly kills other players without valid reasons. When RDM is preformed the guilty party and the afflicted shall be taken to a sit. The offender would be asked why he/she committed the offence and if the act is confirmed then the player will receive a warn for RDM. If the player was possibly new and did not know of the rule, I would ask the person that was killed/attacked if they would allow the offender to be let off with a verbal warning.
RDA is when a cop/swat arrest other without a valid reason. To handle RDA, I would do the same as if RDM were to occur. A punishment different from RDM is possibly demoting the cop/swat from their job.
c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated.
NLR is New Life Rule, it's meant to keep you away from the area of your death for a set amount of time. An example of NLR is a Thief is raiding a base, the thief is killed and respawns. However, the thief returns to the base he/she was raiding and possibly tries to raid again or kill the owner of the base. NLR for non raiding occurrences is two minutes.
c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence.
Meta gaming is when a player's character makes use of knowledge that the player is aware of but that the character is not meant to be aware of. For example, a base is being raided and you a police officer see in chat a raid advert. The police officer then puts a warrant on the person who is raiding to arrest them. Because the police officer did not see the raid taking place, they are not allowed to place the warrant because they did not see the crime taking place
Please explain how you would handle each of these situations:
d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react?
I would react as follows, First I would confront the offender of what they are doing and ask them to stop. If they proceed, I would log/take video of the occurrence. Also, would report them on the forums under the "Report a Staff Member" section.
d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation?
I would ask another staff member for help with the situation. However, if I'm the only staff on I would jail the offender, finish the sit, then assess the situation with the mass RDMer.
d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets.
First, I would give them a verbal warning and ask them to stop and remove the props. If they persist, I would take them to a sit and warn them. If necessary, I would remove the props myself.
