If so, where? yess i was a xeno staff member and i very nearly made senior mod Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? the server has a pretty large lack of active staff and i quite enjoyed my time keeping the streets clean b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? i have an extremely flexible schedule and i can be summoned almost any time Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM (random deathmatch) is when you kill with no warning or reason. RDA (random arrest) same thing but for arresting and both should be a warn, maybe a verbal warning depending on context c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR (new life rule) protects people who have just killed someone (hopefully fairly) from coming back for revenge. an example of it being violated: someone is raiding you and you die. but instead of playing the game like a good nice person you go back with vengance and kill them while they are finishing up their raid. big nono c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. metagaming is when you use outside the rp knowledge to your advantage. like going to the discord server and seeing someone showing off their awesome base and seeing they have illegal printers. then you change roles to be an officer, get a warrent and raid even though you never should have known they had those printers Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? i got to the forums or discord and report them to someone of higher power d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. Pause the current sit and jail the Mass RDMer and then finish the fist sit after. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. id like to just say to leave it as long as it doesnt get out of hand but i mean rules are rules so id verbally warn them sidenote: i know i stated that ive staffed before but i feel like it can help me. also i am more active (again) just at odd hours and that will change to more normal hours if i get staff again. side sidenote: after lolagaf's comment i edited it to make it (hopefully) better and easier to read

If it gets too out of hand pause the sit and jail the player so I can finish my initial sit. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. As long as the server isn't populated with more than 10 people i don't see it as an issue unless it gets to lagging the server.

If so, where? no Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? because I have been playing for awhile now and would like to start helping out on the server. because the very few ACTUALLY good mods are obiously having trouble doing it themselves. b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? i know the server pretty well... and I have read the MODT a few times. I just pretty much know the server pretty well from the while that i have been on it and I feel like i could be a pretty good help with moderation. RDM (random deathmatch, when someone starts a attcking another player for no known reason) Players who RDM should get a warn if it is 1 - 3 times and a ban if its more than 3 times c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR (new life rule, the rule that doesnt let you return to your deathpoint.) You are getting raided, you die. you just go back to your base mid raid and attack the raider. thats breaking NLR c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. METAGAME (using information you shouldnt know) If someone is chatting in global, and you use that info against them (to get a warrent or something) that would be metagaming. Say, someone says that they are selling *illegal* guns in global chat, and you use that to get a warrent without properly making sure what is going on. How do you handle the situation? alert another moderator. if no one else is online ill just finish my sit as quickly as possible and deal with the situation myself. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. verbally warn since its not as big of a deal as if the server were more active.
