What made you guys start RPing in GMOD?

Hi!

As a long term Roleplayer, I started in a HL1 mod called "The Specialists", which had a lot of roleplay servers for it many, many years ago. After TSRP, I began looking for a roleplay that was similar, and came across DarkRP, as well as a few other RP based gamemodes with my friends. Eventually, I moved onto RP for a GTA5 based mod, which I found to be really good, but also too non-organic at times. Thus, I came back to DarkRP.

What made you guys interested in RP in general, or specifically in GMOD? I'd love to hear everyone's story of what made them decide!

The community in general, while at times the server may not host the most "authentic" rp I really enjoy coming online and seeing players who I recognize and creating bonds with them!
