Ill address this lastly. I agree, I should have communicated the ban with him more and elaborated the reason. I left him in the dark on that and that is my fault. NITRP is not always a warned offense, just like MassRDM is not warn able its just a ban, NITRP can be. I will let an admin approach if they need anything else as this is getting relatively redundant and we will go in circles making no progress until the ban is over and the back and fourth wouldn't have mattered. Thank you, for voicing your concerns, however.

You were in the sit for a decently long time. You were there even after I returned the guy accusing you. You are correct Hentai. I should have told him what makes it wrong. This might have defused the situation better and allowed for more communication between you , him, and I. I can agree that he should have been told what was the problem and that is my fault, Hentai, and I take full responsibility for not relaying the consequences to him. Warns are not always given before a ban. EX: Mass RDM is not warnable they get banned. Depending on the case NITRP has the same outcome. "Staff members reserve the right to use their best judgement when dealing with infractions not mentioned in the MOTD. Do not question their authority." That comes straight out of the MOTD. (And its not roleplaying that's the offense, its the lack of seeming to care about the situation at hand)

I did not say I made a mistake warning him. I said "if he was sure he wanted to talk like that, if im not mistaken", in my last reply. If that is what you are referring to I was not talking about his warn. I was referring to the end of the sit with him I asked him if he was sure he wants to keep talking like that, as I could not understand. A lot of people who RP have binds so that when they press a key a specific message shows up. In the case of his sit I asked him if he had adverted something that would have proven he told the hitman to back of. Ex: "Waring 1/2/3 back away now!" Not that he needed one but as I was trying to find any and all ways he could be innocent, I asked if he adverted. You typing in OOC is not a bad thing that i'm trying to stop you from doing. I am glad you spoke up and said something like I had said because that shows you want to make sure what was done was right. I only asked that you called a sit in "@" or dm'ed somebody as it would have not made the sit we had more structured and not have blindsided as it was. I was tabbed out until it was brought to my attention you had a concern so I wasn't as prepared for your concern as it seems. This confuses me as you had also said "reban him for just NITRP" So I don't completely know how to approach the situation as its kind of contradicting. You hearing his voice in discord, or whatever y'all were using, is different than in game. I could not understand him when he was present with me in the sit. That clip is a sample of his voice but not the words and phrases, within the sit it was A LOT more indecipherable. So just to clarify Roleplay: the acting out of the part of a particular person or character My Job: To ensure the functionality and enjoyability of XenoRP. In a sit, if somebody had a concern I address it to make the enjoy ability of XenoRp better. Me going into the sit, I don't know your friend or what he is like at all. He came into the sit in a role play manner still. Many minges like to delay or string on to try and push the limits of staff and get away from their punishment (im not implying anything about your friend). So i go into a sit and the person who is being accused of an offense, if talking in a manner I could not understand, he was being accused of breaking the rules, and the evidence was not on his side. I took into consideration everything and like I said, checked advert logs and all. From my perspective here was ALL I could gather about him. He was not rude and a donator (hence why I double checked logs and tried extra hard to appeal his side), but the evidence pointing against him, and him talking in a manner continuously where I could not understand him made it seem as if the sit was was being dragged on. He did not care enough to talk in a normal manner where we could have a clear conversation. There is a time to role play and a time to be serious. I'm sure your friend is not a bad person and I could get along with him, but he did not seem to care about the rdm accusation. The decision was not made in spite, I considered everything and was just as confident as I am now that the decision should stay.

I see no change in the ban as RP is a time where you can be who you want but in a sit, you are there to explain your side on whatever the case may be, and especially as the one being accused it should be taken seriously. With the evidence provided against him and the fact that I couldn't understand what he was saying the case against him was serious. If he wanted to talk in that accent then that's cool, but do not be surprised if you are not taken seriously if I don't get that same respect. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt multiple times, asking whether he adverted (to help his case), and asked if he was sure he wanted to talk like that, if im not mistaken. But in the end I could not understand him, nor take what he said with any credibility for obvious reasons. At the end of the day whether you think the ban was reasonable or not, the source of the problem originated from the accent and seriousness of the sit. (The ban doesn't have to be a negative thing as well. It can be taken as a learning experience) Also ^ that sit happened as you repeatable brought up in the chat about how it was unjust, a false ban, so we brought you to a sit to discuss your complaint(as you will see) Im not saying you were wrong to make a complaint im glad you want to make sure what was done is right, however if you have a problem you should call a sit, dm somebody in game (or out), or not make things so explosive. When we have to bring you so that you wont flood the chat it doesn't specifically help the case anymore than if you called a sit using "@" etc. Edit: the blue marked out stuff was unrelated to the topic and not needed as after Andy brought him that's when the texting stopped.

a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? My IGN is Nights a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. https://steamcommunity.com/id/KaspianT/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? Nights#5719 a4) What timezone are you located in? Central a5) How many in-game warns do you have? None a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? No, I have not a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? CRUSHED DarkRp- Admin (couple minecraft servers when i was younger) b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? Currently my life has slowed down and with the free time I have been given, staffing seems to be a good choice for that time. My prior staffing experience may not appear as a monumental time for me but as you will see within the next answer below to the b2) question it opened my eyes to staffing as a whole. So other than the time I have on my hands I feel as though I can be a helping hand and I strive to attempt that whenever I see an opportunity. b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? When I was first staff on CRUSHED I was at a disadvantage as I was one of 5 staff members (one other trial-mod, a super admin, a head admin, and an owner) after a loss of people. To be a trial-moderator on a server that runs 40 people at a time and not have a broad range of commands/capabilities was hard. As a result I was under some stress, but I powered through this challenge, and climbed many ranks to become an admin within a couple of months. XenoRp has many traits I found on CRUSHED. If there is anything I have learned throughout my time as a staff member on CRUSHED, it is that staffing requires a sense of profession and maturity. I want to represent the server in the best way I can. By bringing to the table my past virtues and knowledge, I can ensure not only help to staffing team, but to the server's brand and what it looks to represent towards its community. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM (Random Death Match): when a player kills another for a none rp related reason. RDA: is when a player arrests another person for a non-roleplay reason. Both RDA and RDM are warn able unless the person keeps doing it and or is gaining other mass amounts of offenses within the same session c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR is when in a role play situation, (typically a raid) a player dies and then returns to the situation and effects the role play situation/player after the fact Ex: P1 (Player 1) gets raided by P2 (Player 2). P2 shoots and kills P1. P1 returns to their base and proceeds to resume role play killing P2 or affecting the raid in any way. Ex2: P2 adverts “mug drop 10k or die, you move you die.” and proceeds to wait 10 seconds. After 10 seconds P2 kills P1. P1 walks up to P2 after the fact and arrests/damages/kills or affects P2 in a non-role play manner because of the mugging. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Metagaming refers to the use of a game knowledge/information typically that is used to affect a role play occurrence. Ex: P1 takes a camera and uses a phys gun to observe the items within a base Ex2: P1 is raiding a base and sees an easier access if they can get to the top of the base so they place a prop enabling them to climb and access that section. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? There are two outcomes from my perspective. First I would open OBS and record as I am lower in the ranking meaning in certain situations the footage would make me more credible if the staff member is denying it. If I am able to record the situation I would first make sure I have proof, then alert a staff member. Staff member online:If one is on then I would try and call in discord to explain the situation. They would asses the situation with me and after a conversation we would make a decision on how to proceed. Staff member offline: If there are no staff members online then I would try to dm whoever is online on discord. While waiting for a response and recording I would ask the staff member if they understand what they are doing. The footage would keep me safe from false prosecution and I would be able to at least delay the situation until I can get help from someone else. d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? Well my priority is to maintain the role play of others and govern the server so I would tell the people in the sit to give me a second. Immediately after I would move the rule breaker to a separate area (rooftop, or less populated area). If another staff member is one and volunteers to take care of the Mass RDMer then I would allow them to take over and get back to the prior sit. If not I would grab their steam ID, make sure the player knew what they were doing was wrong and then ban them before returning to the sit. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets.’ Two players isn't really enough to role play so as long as nobody else joins and is bothered by it I see it as two people who are wouldn't be harming anything or anyone. If i were to stop them that might infringe on their point of view of the server which is not ideal.
