  1. Right now balance between CCs and everyone else is a bit messed up. The Dragunov is the balance between regular donor snipers; its fast fire rate combined with lethality make it the counter to weapons like the M82 and SVU. The same cannot be said for shotguns. The double barrel is infamous for how much better it is then the base shotguns. For some reason; the Ithaca and SPAS-12 are nerfed to the point where they can't compete with the unnerfed M9K shotguns, unlike their unnerfed counterparts. Either another shotgun should be added with its base M9K stats, or the Ithaca should be brought to its original strength with a higher price tag. I don't agree with upgrading the SPAS as it is potentially the most powerful weapon in M9K unnerfed, other than the damn Davy Crockett.
  2. +1 Agree with most but even the normal media player is broke; that's out of Xeno's control, Garry needs to fix that
  3. +1 I think making it a donor job might actually be a very good idea, as it would put all the CC items in very high demand, thus making it a very successful dealer. Giving it to anyone can make RDM fests a fucking nightmare.
  4. M9K is the biggest weapon addon ever released on Garry's Mod. One of the reasons is due to its vast array of weapons. With the way it's looking, custom classes aren't coming back. Only a select handful of players get to enjoy different weapons, while most are stuck using the same M4 or AK they've been using since day 1. For example, the assault rifles. Pretty much every single one can be added to the Heavy Gun Dealer's selection as their balance is already in line with the other weapons. New snipers and shotguns are where the problem is, as they are the dominant weapons of M9K. Some snipers, namely the SL8, Intervention, and PSG-1 are already in line with the existing SVD Dragunov and M24/AW50. It would make no sense not to bring back custom classes, but not open up the weapon selection either.
  5. Coming to this after it got patched in +1 Fat juggernauts are 100% more balanced than a man covered head to toe in body armor going the speed of someone wearing nothing
  6. Being police or mayor tends to be not very fun as mayor devolves into sitting around doing nothing, and police becomes someone desperate to arrest another player. I remember back in the day, an old and now dead server called Modified DarkRP. The mayor basing and people attempting to raid the fortress that was the PD was potentially some of the most fun on the server. Another point is that mayors would be compelled to make good laws and listen to players, otherwise they would be booted out. As far as base locations, the PD on the Downtown map is way too small, unlike Modifed's ginormous Nexus building. So I think that the mayor should be allowed to pick any location. As far as police go, they shouldn't be allowed to base on their own, but must go to the mayor's base and do their things there.
  7. Sits can take a LONG time. Having only 3 admins all occupied with sits makes it difficult to take tickets, especially as those tickets vanish after a while. Hell, most sits take a minimum of 10 minutes. Thus, there's this "lawlessness." I feel a decent solution would be for mods to actively coordinate; one takes the big sits, another takes tiny tickets for example. Other than that, there isn't much they can do.
  8. + Get rid of VC Mod, replace it with TDM (More cars, less lag) + Remove vapes, let medic sell medkits (People only care about medicinal vapes) + Open up all of M9K to gun dealers, not just select weapons + Remove all vacant custom classes and associated addons + Remove MW2 playermodels for SWAT, replace them with CSS CT playermodels + Remove miner job and associated addons(Nobody uses it) + Replace meth cook skin with metropolice skin (Gas mask, saves addon space) + Give black market dealer access to LMGs
