  1. Well, unfortunately enough, you didn’t tell me to chill out with the minging, because I wasn’t involved with the minging. I had nothing to do with the Church of Crime, I was a mere citizen there to partake in the mass. At no point was I involved in the whole KOS sign ordeal, what me and gg man were doing had no connection to the situation at all. I didn’t kill gg man because of the KOS, I killed him because he had mass rdmed the entire church prior.
  2. Maybe if you looked at logs you’d notice that “gg man” was actually minging, and I was literally defending myself when I killed him. And I did admit to RDMing him on the slide, I said that his party member shot at me after and I killed him then Stealthh killed me for killing his party member. I wasn’t even involved with the Church Of Crime and their KOS sign, so maybe before you pin it all onto me, you realize that being inside the building, doesn’t automatically place me with them. I had killed no one besides gg man and he never even opened a ticket regarding this. I had only killed Stealthh for no reason, then killed his party member within reason.
  3. Your In-Game (RP) Name: ๖ۣۜJuice Which staff member are you reporting: Staple Please describe the staff member's unjust behavior: I was brought to a sit because I had RDMed someone, obviously which I admitted to, and then I was told to change my name by Staple. I argued with him because there's nothing wrong with my name that prevents any staff from executing commands on me, which I know of because I've been brought to numerous admin sits in the past. I've also been a trial mod on the server, and was never told to change my name even then. I've had numerous conversations with staff members and none have ever once asked me to change my name. I was then banned for 5 days, due to Minging and NITRP. However, I wasn't even minging on the server. I spent most of my time inside of the Church of Crime or just doing nothing, and was literally a citizen, so I wasn't even really roleplaying besides listening to the mass. Please provide any available evidence to back your claims: I recorded from the middle on of the admin sit, but my voice wasn't recorded and Staple was saying nothing. But, my film does show me typing in chat trying to explain that my username wasn't connected to the little squiggles next to it. It most likely will be of no help to my claim, but I'll put it anyway. Video Evidence - please leave a comment below this if you'd prefer me to upload it to YouTube or something else. ** File size was too big for me to upload so I put it on a upload link. File link expire in a week from posting. I'll put my ban screen to compensate.
  4. Didn’t ban someone? You can clearly see my verbally warning them asking to stop.
  5. Can I get an explanation of my involvement, and how me and Simon are included on the list?
  6. a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? ๖ۣۜJuice a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. https://www.steamcommunity.com/id/InfernoCats a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234) Juice#4638 a4) What timezone are you located in? US/CA Eastern Standard Time a5) How many in-game warns do you have? 2 - both for RDM. However, I admit to my mistakes and have learned the rules. I was an accident, but I accepted my punishment with no arguments. It was for a counter raid, which I didn't know wasn't allowed. a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? No, I've never been in any altercation with me on the receiving end of an admin sit. a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? Yes, I have plenty. I've had staffing experience on KDGaming as a moderator, a popular European server from a few years ago, some on XeonRP as an admin about a year ago. There are also many other cases when I've been on a staff team, but they're either small, irrelevant servers or as old as dirt now and offline. Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? I want to volunteer for XenoRP because it has amazing character. The jobs stand out, the coding and features are amazing, and the playerbase is all around loveable (for the most part.) b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? I think I would be a good moderator because I have basic DarkRP common sense and rule knowledge. I've read over the server rules a couple times while building my base, and I know how to respond to certain different rule breaking and the proper punishments to them. I've had heavy experience in both being a user in DarkRP and being a staff member. I have a very high understanding of how the ULX admin plugin works and the ins and outs of it. I also believe I would be a good moderator because I play all throughout the night, or the "graveyard shift," this is especially important since the server will typically be a hell-hole once past a certain time after the majority of the staff gets offline. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM stands for random deathmatch, and RDA stands for random arrest. If it was a one-kill or one-arrest, it would be responded to with a simple aWarn and aslong with an explanation of the rules. The same goes for RDA. However, if the offense is more severe, say several people were killed/arrested, they would be banned for Mass RDM(A). c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR stands for New Life Rule. This means that once you die, you forget everything from your previous life. You can't return to your death position and get revenge or inform the police. Some other instances is when a thief is raiding a gun shop, kills the owner, and the owner repeatedly comes back in an attempt to secure his property, this would be classified as breaking NLR. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Metagaming is when you do something unrealistic towards your advantage. This includes using information you couldn't possibly gain in real life and base your actions off of them. This also includes using OOC as an in-character roleplay central. Metagaming is similar to FailRP, especially in the way you would use unrealistic information such as a watering pot's soundfile or a meth stove's boiling soundfile. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? You react calmly. You do this by gathering proof and then following-up on a forum post explaining the situtation. d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? I would stop the person Mass RDMing as fast as possible, especially if the other person in the sit is restrained in a jail, not in serious trouble, or frozen. I would proceed with the Mass RDMer's punishment and continue with my previous sit. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. There are no exceptions to rule-breaking. If it is in the rules, it is made to be followed no matter the circumstance. I would give them verbal warnings at first to remove their buildings, and if complied it's over with. But if not, I would give them the proper punishment (most likely a warning) and have it dealt with quickly.
  7. Was this last night? I remember them being on the server and being pretty toxic, more toxic than I usually am and breaking rules on top of that.
  8. Thank you! Original post^ I’ve had these on my PC for like the past 2 years or something, had no clue where they came from.
  9. Non ULX version (works better, no command echo.) hook.Add("PhysgunPickup", "PhysgunFreeze.PhysgunPickup", function(pl, ent) if ent:IsPlayer() and pl:IsAdmin() then --ent.physAdmin = pl ent:Freeze(true) ent:SetMoveType(MOVETYPE_NOCLIP) return true end end) hook.Add("PhysgunDrop", "PhysgunFreeze.PhysgunDrop", function(pl, ent) if ent:IsPlayer() and pl:IsAdmin() then if pl:KeyPressed(IN_ATTACK2) then return end --ent.physAdmin = nil ent:DropToFloor() ent:Freeze(false) ent:SetMoveType(MOVETYPE_WALK) end end) hook.Add("playerCanChangeTeam", "PhysgunFreeze.playerCanChangeTeam", function(ply) if ply:IsFrozen() then return false, "Unable to change job while frozen." end end) print("PhysFreeze Loaded")
  10. This is a more admin-orientated suggestion, but I notice and have actually fallen victim to this, but a lot of staff will use "ulx freeze @" or "ulx jail @" which always ends up accidentally missing the intended target, and hitting an innocent player. What I'm suggesting is this; it allows admins, mods, or anyone who have access to ulx physgunplayers to simply freeze someone with their right mouse button. Although not needed, this can be very helpful in the future and can avoid mistakes. Please consider this. if CLIENT then return end; if not SERVER then return end hook.Remove( "PhysgunDrop", "ulxPlayerDrop") -- We don't need this hook since we have a better hook here. local function isPlayer(ent) return (IsValid(ent) && ent.GetClass && ent:GetClass() == "player") end local function playerPickup( ply, ent ) local access, tag = ULib.ucl.query( ply, "ulx physgunplayer" ) if isPlayer(ent) and access then local restrictions = {} ULib.cmds.PlayerArg.processRestrictions( restrictions, ply, {}, tag and ULib.splitArgs( tag )[ 1 ] ) if restrictions.restrictedTargets == false or (restrictions.restrictedTargets and not table.HasValue( restrictions.restrictedTargets, ent )) then return false end return true end end timer.Simple(0.01, function() hook.Add("PhysgunPickup", "_ply_physgungrab", function(ply, targ) if IsValid(ply) and isPlayer(targ) then if ply:query("ulx physgunplayer") and playerPickup( ply, targ ) then local allowed = ULib.getUser( "@", true, ply ) if isPlayer(allowed) then if allowed.frozen && ply:query( "ulx unfreeze" ) then allowed.phrozen = true; allowed.frozen = false; end allowed._ulx_physgun = {p=targ:GetPos(), b=true, a=ply} end end end end, tonumber(HOOK_HIGH)-2); MsgAll('LOADED! 1') end) hook.Add("PlayerSpawn", "_ply_physgungrab", function(ply) timer.Simple(0.001, function() if IsValid(ply) and ply._ulx_physgun then local admin = ply._ulx_physgun.a if ply._ulx_physgun.b and ply._ulx_physgun.p and IsValid(admin) then ply:SetPos(ply._ulx_physgun.p); ply:SetMoveType(MOVETYPE_NONE); timer.Simple(0.001, function() if not (IsValid(admin) and admin:KeyDown(IN_ATTACK)) then ply:SetMoveType( MOVETYPE_WALK ) ply._ulx_physgun = nil ply:Spawn() end end) end end end) end) local function physgun_freeze( calling_ply, target_ply, should_unfreeze ) local v = target_ply if v:InVehicle() then v:ExitVehicle() end if not should_unfreeze then v:Lock() v.frozen = true v.phrozen = true ulx.setExclusive( v, "frozen" ) else v:UnLock() v.frozen = nil v.phrozen = nil ulx.clearExclusive( v ) end v:DisallowSpawning( not should_unfreeze ) ulx.setNoDie( v, not should_unfreeze ) if v.whipped then v.whipcount = v.whipamt -- Will make it remove end end timer.Simple(0.01, function() hook.Add("OnPhysgunFreeze", "_ulx_physgunfreeze", function(pl, ent) if isPlayer(ent) then ent:SetMoveType( MOVETYPE_WALK ) ent._ulx_physgun = nil end end) hook.Add("PhysgunDrop", "_ulx_physgunfreeze", function(pl, ent) if isPlayer(ent) then ent:SetMoveType( MOVETYPE_WALK ) ent._ulx_physgun = nil end if IsValid(pl) and isPlayer(ent) then if pl:query("ulx freeze") then local isFrozen = ( ent:IsFrozen() or ent.frozen or ent.phrozen ); ent:SetMoveType(pl:KeyDown(IN_ATTACK2) and MOVETYPE_NONE or MOVETYPE_WALK); timer.Simple(0.001, function() if pl:KeyDown(IN_ATTACK2) and not isFrozen then if pl:query( "ulx freeze" ) then ent:SetVelocity(ent:GetVelocity()*-1); ulx.freeze( pl, {ent}, false ); if ent.frozen then ent.phrozen = true end; end elseif pl:query( "ulx unfreeze" ) and isFrozen then if pl:KeyDown(IN_ATTACK2) and pl:query( "ulx freeze" ) then physgun_freeze(pl, ent, true) timer.Simple(0.001, function() physgun_freeze(pl, ent, false) end); else ulx.freeze( pl, {ent}, true ); if not ent.frozen then ent.phrozen = nil end; end end end); else ent:SetMoveType( MOVETYPE_WALK ) end end end); MsgAll('LOADED! 2') end)
