The Answer to - "Do the radios work on this server?"

Welcome to a quick guide on how I personally get my radio working in game.

I see lots of people asking in chat or talking to me when I have my radio asking how to get it to work, so heres a post so you don't have to ask me anymore.

Step One: Spawn your radio, and lock it/loop it, whatever you need to do. 

Step Two: Tab out of the game, do not use the browser in game, it doesn't work.

Step Three: Copy the link from SOUNDCLOUD. Youtube hasn't worked for me personally in the past. 

Step Four: Tab back into the game, open your radio, and press CTRL+V to paste the link. The request it in the top right. Your music should start playing a few seconds later. \

 

ALL OF THE ABOVE MUST BE DONE IN THE CHROMIUM BRANCH OF GARRY'S MOD.

I mean it works normally for me but my question is with soundcloud will is play the next song and continue? When i use youtube it plays the first video then it wont play and my trick is to request a new video then move it away from me until the screen turns black then i bring it back after about 5 mins and it will play the next video/music (i do this with radio and tv just move it away from you and bring it back)

Typically for me I pick a mix that has around 30-45 minutes worth of songs and have it repeat. I haven't experimented too much with it moving on to the next song.

Well to make more clear because i dont use soundcloud on the radio but does it work if you put on a playlist? like do you know if it continues the playlist or not?

No, I don't believe it functions well with playlists. Like I said above, I only use it with hour long mixes that I have repeat.
