Royal_CactusFruit
a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? Obi-wan Kenobi a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198171482955/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234) A_Royal_CactusFruit#1597 a4) What timezone are you located in? EST a5) How many in-game warns do you have? 1 a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? I Have Not a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? None Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? I am on when I can and want to help out newer players while taking care of people who many ruin the server for every other player. b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? I am newer to the scene and want to help get to know the community better. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM is Random Death match meaning you are running around killing people just for no apparent reason. RDM is a serious thing but it all depends on the motives of the player. If a player was mad at another player they should receive a verbal warning. Now however, if a player decided to run around and Kill everyone in sight (KOS'd for No reason) They would receive a more severe punishment like a banning. RDA is Random Arresting, which is just like being RDM'd except with arresting. This is only done by cops due to them having the arrest baton and is done by people who want the power to arrest and just feel like arresting people. To handle a situation like this RDA usually is a verbal warning but in most cases is Mass RDA. Mass RDA is Arresting multiple people for no apparent reason and could result in a Ban. c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR I think stands for the New Life Rule. This means when/if you die you re spawn as usual but CANNOT return to the location where you died for 2 minutes. If a raid is going on and you die when defending, you MUST wait for the raiders to advert RAID OVER in order for you to return to the location you have died. Many people return and break NLR when they are Mad and just want some revenge, they want to goof around and ruin the fun for others, or they just would like to go back and act like nothing happened and defend their base. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Metagame is all about knowing the game while out of the game. (Basically its cheating, (still learning btw). Its basically receiving information about the game and whats going on while using the game to do it. An example of metagaming would be to purposefully suicide so that you can clip into the base and see exactly how to approach the base, and then return after NLR has been up. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? I would report them to the forums just like the game spams multiple times in the chat as a friendly reminder. I would leave the server to avoid being caught in a banning for example. d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? I just Use the @ Command and then sit in spawn in safety until mods or higher ups arrive to asses and handle the situation as a helper to the community. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. I would tell them that if a mod gets on and tells them to remove stuff it would be a issue in the long run and they shouldn't bother doing it in the first place. Soprano
-1, I just read through your app. I'd like to see a bit more effort in terms of spelling out the word "You" instead of "u". I might change my stance later. He's helpful in game, usually the only cop that isn't going around breaking rules. Obi-Wan has always been helpful in sits he's involved in. DarkPhoenix
Thank you for applying! I am going to give your app a neutral, but I am leaning towards a -1 due to the lack of effort. You are a really well behaved player in-game, but I would like to see a little more effort placed towards this application. I will reconsider my view on Wednesday, June 10th. Link to comment
