Gravity
a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? Gravity a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198165750423/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234) Gravity#6123 a4) What timezone are you located in? Central Standard Time a5) How many in-game warns do you have? 6 a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? No a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? Not going to bs this one. I do not have any staffing experience on Gmod but on rather other games such as TF2, Minecraft, and CSGO. Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? It's a good server, but there are sometimes no times when staff are on because they're busy with other things, so I wanna pitch in during those times. b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? Well, when I'm not messing around when I usually am, I'm more serious about what I'm doing. I would be a fair, vigilant, and helpful. I would also be much less toxic in the server. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM is randomly killing someone. RDA is randomly arresting someone. RDM/RDA should be just a warning. Mass RDM/RDA should be a ban for at least 2 weeks. c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. New Life Rule. This rule means that if you die, you cannot return to the area that you have died at for 2 minutes, nor can you remember or discuss anything before your death. In raids, someone who has died cannot return at all until the raid is finished. NLR is violated when someone is killed and they return to the scene of their murder in 30 seconds to kill the person who killed them. NLR is also violated when someone returns to the raid despite them being already killed in it. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. They cannot know anything that is above their realistic knowledge such as if this were real life, and not a game. An example would be a police officer arresting someone for their job weapon, knowing that they always spawn with it. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? I would try to get in contact with the Owner or someone above that higher up's authority. d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? I would let another staff member handle it. If no other staff member is available to do so, I would postpone the sit and deal with the Mass RDMer. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. In my personal opinion, it doesn't really hurt anything if there's only two players. I would let it be. Now if more players start joining, I would ask them to stop or delete the props myself. Another scenario is that if it starts to crash the server, I would delete the props and ask them not to do it again. Link to comment
