Please describe the staff member's unjust behavior: To start off, I was kidnapping a hitman, and carelesslion adverts "Counter", which on XenoRP is not a thing unless you're a terrorist/mafia defending one another. However, Careless is a normal thief and is adverting counter on me to stop me from kidnapping a hitman, who is not in his party, and isnt allowed to be in his party. If he was a proper moderator he would've known this according to the MOTD. Fast forward twenty minutes. I'm riding a tricycle, and Careless adverts "Carjack", and immediately starts shooting the tricycle, and doesn't even pull out his lockpick which means his only intentions were to kill me. I have video evidence of the carjack I will put down below, but I do not have evidence of the counter, you can ask Staple about the counter if you want to dig deeper into this. Careless's advert also was very vague, and the exact advert was just "carjack". No KOS reasons, no nothing, just carjack. Also not to mention the rudeness in chat from him when someone has a disagreement with him, such as "SaLtYnEsS cOmInG fRoM wEsT", and etc.

Adding on to the counter, here are the rules on rp relation directly from the MOTD.

There are three ways to be RP Related.

Mafia and Terrorist are the only teams that have implicit RP Relation to their respective teams. They may defend one another, but they must advert Counter before doing so.

For Merchants, whilst engaging in a transaction, you have RP Relation with your customer. You must advert Counter to defend them if they are Attacked during a deal.

If players are in a Party together, they may defend one another without advert.

Being an ex staff and knowing the rules very well, I can tell Careless has not taken the time to read through the google documents that are given to you when you become a staff member, and I can also tell he has not thoroughly read through the MOTD.

Please provide any available evidence to back your claims: Video evidence of the carjack. Notice how he says "Oh, I can't damage him?", and then half a second later I die and he says, "Oh, I can!".

To start off, I am aware now that I was in the wrong with the whole counter sit that I was a part of. I received a verbal since I was not aware (Done by staple). I will make sure this doesn't happen in the future. I wasn't aware of this because I assumed that the countless counters against me were valid, which they were not. Again, that was wrong of me and I admit to that. For those reasons, I decided to warn myself for RDM as it seem fit. For the second instance, I will provide video below of my perspective. I do not have a bind for car jack so you will see me start typing it when West was Stopped at the wall. Immediately, he started driving the tricycle again and I started shooting because he was escaping. I didn't manage to hit his hitbox until the end though around where he stopped in the tunnel. When I looked back in the MOTD, there is nothing saying that those driving cannot be KOSed if they are driving away, and I have been in instances with others when there were multiple people in the car when it was stopped, carjack was adverted, and they were immediately pulverized. Again, Nothing in the MOTD counters this, and I had only shot because He was driving away. You can see this from my perspective when I started to type the advert (and he was stopped) but he then started driving again when I was mid-type.

I would also like to respond to west countering his "read - through" of the documents. I have read through each document thoroughly as you are required to when you are accepted as a trial-moderator. I would also like to state that I have read through the MOTD, especially regarding certain classes and general rules for the server as again, you are required to. I also believe that I have tried my best as a staff member in order to better the community as that is my whole goal The instances mentioned here are obsolete from my staffing experience as I am unbiased and try to be as helpful as possible when dealing with situations. I hope this goes down smoothly, and I hope nothing like this happens again in the future.

Careless. You realize you started gunning me down the instant you adverted carjack? Your only intention was to kill me, and you didn't even pull out a lockpick, tell me to stop the car/step out of the car, etc.

Also, you had no KOS reasons in your advert.

Also, I would like to see the warn on yourself for RDM. Cause of the time I was on the server, you were on as well and I saw no warn on yourself.

As I said, I started typing the advert when you were stopped at the wall. I started shooting because you immediately started driving again. I’ll send a screenshot of my warn in the next reply. Again, I don’t see this as a report that should be brought to staff. I strive to be unbiased and a good staff member. The instances mentioned here are warnable offenses. Even if the carjack instance was off a bit, I was brought to a sit and it was settled that no one was in the wrong. In the instance of the counter, I was warned by myself. I do not abuse, and I do not use my power to gain advantage over players.

Careless, It's not just these actions that have made me create a staff report. Many other people have told me things & showed me videos of experiences they have with you, and these actions were the last straw for me, and has brought me here to report you. This should be brought to staff. This is wrong, you should know better.

Look man, I haven't done anything abusive as I said before, nothing that I have done is against the staff rules. I handle my sits fairly and I work things out with the members of the sits. If you've got a problem with something I'm doing, please tell me what it is exactly and I will strive to fix it. All I want to do is help out this community and the way I do that is by taking tickets, sitting down with those involved, and solving the issues. Again, If I have done something wrong, please tell me what it is, weather its a warnable offense (Which I will take care of) Or if I am doing things wrong in my sits. I am a newer member to the staff team, So I will take all things into consideration and I mean all of this genuinely. I honestly just want to be of convenience to those that play on this server.

From what I hear the counter situation has already been dealt with by Staple. As for the carjack:

 

Users don't have to put all the KOS reasons in their advert, they mean nothing and serve only as a friendly reminder to new people. All ways people can be killed in a situation are expressed in the MOTD and if need be regurgitated to the victim  (Fore example, if you advert raid you don't have to say KOS inside building).

I encourage you to tell these people to report staff members on the forums whenever this happens in the future :).
