Gromit a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198105811141/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234) Big Jiggly Pupper#8496 a4) What timezone are you located in? Mountain Standard Time (GMT-7) a5) How many in-game warns do you have? 4 a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? Only twice. One time for 2 rdm counts and prop block. 2nd time for ardm in a sit. a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? Yes, On Retribution RP, Discord servers, Minecraft, And a few other defunk gmod servers. Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? Because I would think I could make the community better, since I've learned from my past experiences. b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? I think I would be taking every sit i could and possibly manage what I could. I would even try my best to help anyone in need. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM/RDA Are 2 different things. RDM is Random Deathmatch, it is when a player decides to shoot someone at random and kill them. The way this should be handled is that the person who caused the RDM should be given a warning and depending on how many people they killed a jail time. If its mass RDM I believe they should be banned for 3-5 days. RDA Is Random Arrests. Its when only a police officer or someone in the same class as them start going around arresting people for no apparent reason. This should be handled by Jailing them for 120 or so seconds. A warning given, if exceeding the warns a swift ban for 1-2 days. c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR is New Life Rule and it is when a player who has died comes back to the place where they have died. Most servers have a certain time limit on when NLR is over. But in most cases when they come back to the place they died at is most likely a raid and they can't do anything when they died. If they kill someone in NLR they are considered as RDM and should be handled in the same action as RDM. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Metagaming is when you have a friend in a call (I.e; Discord, Skype, Teamspeak, etc....) And lets say someone is raiding you. They tell you their every move when they're inside and out. Making it harder for the raider. If the raiders suspects that the raidee is metagaming they can bring it to a sit with significant evidence. Metagaming should be handled with a warn. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? I swiftly report them to the owner and co-owner to handle it on their own. If possible I will try to stop them from abusing it. d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? I bring the subject that is Mass RDMing and jail them. I tell them to wait and I deal with my previous sit. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. I walk over to them and tell them they can't be building on the streets. If they put up a fight I tell them to read the motd and move on monitoring them. Link to comment
