DISCLAMIER- I have not played this server (excluding my recent times) for around 2 years, so some of these I am not going to be able to answer to full ability, hope you understand and thank you for reading my application.

a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? Soviet Robo (It usually changes, but will always go back to this)

a4) What timezone are you located in? Pacific Standard

a5) How many in-game warns do you have? I am not sure since I haven’t played in like a year, so most likely 0.

a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? If I have, I don’t remember. So probably not. 

a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? 

-Obey Servers, 5 months.

-Misfits Servers, 6 months.

-DDG RP, Less than a week (Server Shut Down).

 

Please answer these questions with your honest opinion.

b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP?

I want to volunteer for this server because since I came back the community (in my opinion) has got much better. When I used to play on this server back in early 2019 it was honestly not great, hence why I left the server. I recently came back after my birthday, and honestly, it blew my mind how much less toxic this server is. Of course, there are still minges and whatnot, but it’s not as bad as it used to be. I want to volunteer on this server to help clean up the server even more, and to also help other mods as being someone on later at night. 

b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator?

I am a night owl, so I can be on when other mods cannot, and especially I encountered this last night when CoolGuy left, the server went to hell. I try to stay on as late as possible because it’s a little fun to just play with some of the people on the server when we have free time. I can also value common team values. I am respectful, and I try not to get angry at people even if they say something that really bugs me. I am also unbiased, I don't take sides because it’s an unfair advantage to someone in a sit. Finally, I try to take as many sits as possible in a day so I can help other mods if they are under stress.

Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions:

c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished.

RDM or Random DeathMatch-Unlawful killing of another or multiple players. If you RDM once, it’s a warn, however if you keep doing it, you’ll get banned. Also Mass RDM, will get you banned.

RDA or Random Arrest-Unlawful arrest of another or multiple players. Same connotations as RDM so one time will get you warned. Multiple RDA’s is a jail/ban depending on the severity.  

c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated.

NLR or New Life Rule- Instance of a player dying, they are not allowed to interact with the past life. NLR Timer is 2min, which is the time not allowed to go to the location you died.

c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence.

Metagame is an unfair advantage over someone by using outside abilites. An example would be using a mic to scout out an enemy’s location. Another instance is using discord to gain an unfair advantage over someone. 

 

Please explain how you would handle each of these situations:

d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react?

I would contact someone of an even higher position to come help (from discord). If this is not available, I would record the abuse and post it in the “Report Staff Member” subforum. 

d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation?

I would jail the player and get a hold of their STEAM ID so I could ban them after I am done with my current sit. 

d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets.

I would tell them to stop only if they are actually causing obstructions to players, but I would tell them to keep it off the roads and to build a base.
