Joseph-KY
a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? - Grizzle a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. - https://steamcommunity.com/id/yeehaw_yipeekiyay_texas/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234) - jojoe #3147 a4) What timezone are you located in? - Eastern Time a5) How many in-game warns do you have? - 2 a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? - No a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? - I had a couple weeks of experience in a server that is now shut down Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? - There are times that I am active that mods are not, which applies to other people, and this out-of-sync activity creates issues for the server especially at night time for North and South American users. I want to volunteer for a trial moderator position so that I can resolve this issue. b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? - Whenever I face a situation I immediately approach it with a "innocent until proven guilty" mindset. If there is a time where I am faced with a lack of any evidence for either party's accusations, I'll resolve the situation with a choice that is fair for both groups. I do my best to take my take my time when attempting to come to a solution to a problem, and in a manner that is appropriate professionally. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. - RDM is the action where a player kills another person in-game with a reason that doesn't abide by the rules. RDA is where a player is arrested in-game by someone with a reason that also does not abide by the rules. Both of these matters should be dealt with depending on past actions made by the offender, with the first course of action (being if they have a clean slate) is to provide an in-game warning. If the player continues their offense, they will be met with a ban, the ban duration also depending on their previous actions. c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. - NLR is the action where a player who was just killed in game returns to their previous location or situation and proceeds to take course of action as if they never died. One example of this is a base owner who is being raided by somebody. He dies while in combat with them, and after respawning, they return to the base and kill the raider. Another example of this offense is if somebody is in-game, and while on the street they are suddenly mugged by a thief. After not complying with their demands, they are killed. The person returns to where the thief killed them and then pulls out a Desert Eagle, proceeding to shoot them directly in the head. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. - "Metagaming" is the offense where a user creates offers or statements that breaks the fourth wall in-game. One example of this would be if a base owner is getting raided by somebody they have dirt on (they have evidence of them breaking a rule). The base owner tells the raider to screw off or they will give the evidence to a moderator. Another example of this is if someone in game is frustrated with another person, and they threaten that if they don't stop doing whats annoying them, they will votekick them from the game, assuming that what they are doing is not against the rules. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? - Contact the server owner immediately and report them on the forums if the owner is unavailable d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? - Proceed to jail the offender in the sit, politely ask the accuser to wait just a moment, and handle the Mass RDMer first. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. - Tell them that they can proceed building, but if more players join they have to delete everything and/or relocate.
