drew
a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? drew a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. https://steamcommunity.com/id/drew12341/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234) DREW#1777 a4) What timezone are you located in? Eastern Standard a5) How many in-game warns do you have? 0 a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? I have been banned on other servers, however this was when I was younger and didn't understand how to play DarkRP. a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? I have prior staffing experience in many servers, however most of them shut down overtime due to the owner not wanting to pay anymore or a lack of a player base. But, the server that still runs in DankRP I was a moderator on that server for about a year until I resigned just to be a normal player. Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? I want to volunteer for XenoRP because the server has been a great experience in all the time I have and has been extremely enjoyable. I want to be able to provide that same enjoyable experience to others by getting rid of those who want to make it less enjoyable. b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? If I were to be accepted one of the main reasons I would be a good moderator would be because of my overall experience in the game. I have 1049 hours at the point of making this application almost all of this time was spent in DarkRP because of the love I have for this gamemode. Furthermore, more than 1/4 of the time I have spent in DarkRP is me being a staff member of a server. I have always loved being a moderator and being parts of such great communities that I think have even better potentials, this is why I think XenoRP would be a great place and I think I would thrive as a good moderator. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM - Random Death Match, killing a player without reason, without advert, or any specific roleplay intent Players who break this rule should first be warned, and warned again, eventually turning into being kicked and then being banned for a certain amount of time if they keep repeating this. RDA - Random Arrest, Arresting a player without a solid reason to arrest them or without them performing any illegal activities that could lead to them spending time in jail. c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR - New Life Rule, the new life rule means that if you were to die you have a completely new life, you may not return to the area you died in for a certain amount of time and you can not treat the players who killed you or wronged you in the past life any different, because again, you now have a completely new life. EX: I kill a player named "John" during a raid, John comes back to his house that I raided and kills me before the raid is over because I killed him in his past life, this is breaking NLR c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Meta gaming is when a player uses outside knowledge or glitches to gain knowledge of a players whereabouts, what entities they possess, or where there are. EX: using a 3rd person car glitch to look into someone's base now knowing that they have bitcoin miners they decide to raid. EX 2: Someone privately messages a player they are teaming with after they died that they have a powerful weapon. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? I first take video evidence to show the owners, or admins, whoever is currently on discord. If they do not respond I file a report against the staff member on these forums with the video that I have taken attached. d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? I freeze the player who is Mass RDMing and bring him to me, then I finish the sit that I am currently handling and after that I deal with the player who is Mass RDMing. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. I ask the players to either save and move their build to a warehouse or somewhere they can truly build, however I do not give them a written warning since there are only two players online. However, if more join and they refuse to cooperate then I give them a written warning. Edited December 23, 2020 by drew fixed ban category Link to comment
