Law enforcement classes has a way too high restriction before they can open fire. For example if a hitman starts shooting another player the police officer should be allowed to assist the player that is being shot at with gun fire as well since first of all the tazer does not reach everywhere and second it's almost certian suicide to run into a gun fight with a tazer while two players are shooting at eachother. I assume anyone who enjoy playing as a police or SWAT officer will recognize what I am saying as annoying and that you feel powerless at times because you cannot help another player without almost certian death.

Rule 5 under Police and SWAT in the MOTD states that "Civil Protectors can defend themselves and others from all Attacks or hostile actions without advert." They're allowed to open fire if someone's life is in danger. The "police officers must try to arrest" rule refers to someone breaking other laws, such as having illegal weapons or vaping in public (if that's currently illegal). This is to prevent the mayor from creating "KOS" laws. In any case, Civil Protectors (excluding the mayor) are already allowed to use lethal force against someone endangering the lives of either the officer or people around them.

That closes this case, was told otherwise and a guy told me a mod warned him for doing that.

Thanks.
