jeck
a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? Jeck a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198314295944/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? Jeck#0002 a4) What timezone are you located in? EST a5) How many in-game warns do you have? 4 a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? No. a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? Yes I was an ex-staff on Xeno. Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? Well I enjoy the server. I find that a select portion of the community is nice to be around so I’d like to help out. b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? I know the rules very well, I’m an alright fella I don’t really get annoyed all that often so I think I’d do a fine job this time around. I’ve also stopped being cringy and have tried to put effort towards being a respectful member of the community. I kinda had a rough period of being cringy but I've since stopped and have tried to shown that I've changed to the moderators in the community. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM is random deathmatch which is killing a player without an rp reason. Players who rdm should typically get a warning, verbal, or jail depending on their past history and the events that caused the player to kill the other without reason. If RDM becomes a continued problem you would usually ban the player for 1w if it was repeated rdm throughout the day or a 2w if it was mass rdm. RDA is random arrest which is arresting someone without rp reason. The punishments are usually the same with a warning, verbal, or jail depending on the situation and the players history although RDA usually results from confusion and an innocent mistake from the player and most often or not ends up in a verbal. If the player were to continue to RDA the punishment would follow the same lines as rdm with a 1w if repeated throughout the day or a 2w if it was mass rda in a short amount of time. c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR is the new life rule and it states that you cannot remember any information from your past life. NLR can be broken by returning to the site of death within 120 seconds or returning to a raid before it is called over. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Metagame is using information outside your rp knowledge. This includes using discord, /ooc, and other information you would receive outside your rp knowledge to influence your decisions. One example could be that you say in /ooc that you have printers and weed in your base and cops come and raid you without actually seeing the illegal items for themselves. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? If I see a higher up abusing their powers I’ll record them in the act and try to gather as much proof as possible to make sure that they are clearly shown abusing. I’ll send this info to their respective admin so it may be reviewed and handled accordingly. d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? If I see someone mass RDMing outside of my sit I’ll jail them and ban them because banning someone doesn’t take much longer than ten seconds then I’ll return to and finish my sit. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. Although there are only two players online it doesn’t mean the rules don’t apply to them. I’d ask them to stop building in the streets and if they wanted to build outside to switch to hobos and keep it on the sidewalks instead. There are also a few bases with enough space to build inside without dealing with tight areas so that is also an alternative. edit: forgot that discord tag.
