Simon04
a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? Simon04 a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198879898159/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234) Simon04#0035 a4) What timezone are you located in? EST a5) How many in-game warns do you have? 0 a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? Nope. a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? Yes, I have prior staffing experience here. Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? I want to volunteer because I miss the staff team and I want to return to the server to assist in enforcing the rules and ensuring that everyone is having a good time and by punishing players who break the rules. I would have the flexibility to work later hours and on holidays when other employees couldn't and I will be able to make quota and I will be able to mod from 3:20Pm to 2:30Am on the late hours. b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? What would make me a good Moderator is that I am already active, that I will frequently be on the server and assist users as needed, and that I am familiar with ULX commands. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM is when a person approaches you without warning and shoots you; if they did it once, I would inquire about their motivations, and if they were caught, I would issue a warning for RDM. RDA is when a police officer approaches you without warning and tazes you; if I caught them doing it, I would issue a warning for RDA and explain the circumstances surrounding it. c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR stands for "New Life Rule," which states that if you are playing as a police officer and someone kills you, you respawn, and you see them walk by you, you cannot go back to them and say, "Hey, you killed me," and then try to taze them because doing so would violate NLR because it would be considered past knowledge. Similarly, if I died and returned to my original death location, that would violate NLR unless I waited 120 seconds. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Metagame is when something is beyond your knowledge, for example, if you are the mayor and you see a hitman enter the police department. You then alert the other officers to the fact that the person is a hitman and send them to arrest them. In this scenario, it would be beyond your field of view to assume that the hitman is who they are simply because you see the sign over their head indicating that they have been hit. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? If I would see a Higher up abuse there powers I would either take a screen shot or I would record it and then Report it to a Admin or the Owners. d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? I would jail them then after finishing my current sit, I would go to them and check the logs to see how many people they had murdered; if it was a significant number, I would then ban them for 2 weeks for MASS RDM. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. I would politely ask them both to stop constructing in the road and advise them to switch to the Hobo Team and build on the sidewalk instead. If they persisted, I would issue a warning for constructing in the streets. Edited January 4, 2023 by Simon04 Link to comment
