Double_O_Link
a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? DoubleOLink a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198059008953/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234) Double#2180 a4) What timezone are you located in? EST a5) How many in-game warns do you have? 33 a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? Yes but it was so long ago I don't remember why anymore a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? Not in your life Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? "You're asking me why? I did it because I was bored." b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? Because uhhh i'm a great guy? Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM is when you kill someone with no RP relation to you (mugging, kidnapping, etc.) and RDA is when you arrest someone as police for no reason. People who do these things should be buried in their own shallow graves. c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR is when you use knowledge you got from before you died and used it after you respawned or going back to where you died. An example is when you die in a raid and immediately run back to continue the raid. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Metagame is using your ears to know things that are happening around you, which is what they are there for. An example is when you walk past someone's house and hear them cooking meth. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? Report it d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? Jail them, then finish my sit, then deal with them. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. Let them do it until it causes a problem then deal with them Edited October 7, 2019 by Double_O_Link Unfinished Link to comment
FlatHamburger
-1 Pros: Active Cons: A very large amount of warns Seems like you didnt take your application seriously based on some of the answers Can be mingy at times Wrong answers on app C3 is the wrong definition, and a wrong example C1 You gave no clear punishment B2 That is not a good reason B1 This answer makes me feel like you are not serious about becoming a mod Maybe after a long time passes, come back and try again. Bushman
Hello Link, thank you for applying! Pros - Very active. Cons - Have repeatedly told you to stop doing many things, like prop jumping. (Which you do many times, even to avoid RP.) 33 warns Can be minge. Application seems rushed, some very non-serious and non-conclusive answers. Ex. (a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? Not in your life) d3) You do not permit anyone to break rules even if the server is not populated. This breeds the mindset of "a mod saw me and didn't do anything" which a very serious problem we have right now. Posted the application unfinished/ c3) Metagaming is not using your ears. You are not deaf when you play video games. Metagaming is using knowledge outside of your characters realistic reach. Ex. Using OOC to warrant somebody, arresting a hitman because they have a hit and are in the pd. Lacking punishment on answers. In conclusion, (-1). Edited October 7, 2019 by Bushman Link to comment
