I've actually been a staff on Xeno twice. I was a staff on this server for quite some time. Along with some OG's Steven, wildcat, etc... Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? I love this server, always have. It's been my favorite G-Mod server for DarkRP. I love the people and the amount of fun that everyone has is amazing. I want to make everyone's experience 10x better by being a great moderator. I want to make sure everyone has a fun and fair experience when playing on Xeno. If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? Listening to everyone's side of the story, making sure that all sides of the party have discussed the situation with me. I want to make sure that everyone has a great experience with Xeno. I want people to say that Xeno was the best server they have ever played on. I will also make sure that I respond quickly and efficiently to everyone's tickets. I know how the system works and know all the rules from previous experience. I will make sure that everyone has a great time playing on this server Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM is defined as Random Death Match. It is when another player provokes another player by either shooting them, punching them, or just randomly killing them. Hence the word Random in RDM. It is described as a Random attack. Players who commit RDM for their first offense would get a warning. The reason for this, is because it's in the MOTD and a major RP rule. Second offense would consist of warning and jail time of 2-5 minutes depending on behavior of player. Third offense would result in a warning, three warnings and they would be kicked by the server. If it continues it would be a ban for a few hours. If problem persists beyond that, ban for longer. Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR stands for New Life Rule. EX. Timmy goes to rob the PD, he adverts in chat PD RAID! Timmy then goes into the PD and is shot by Patrick the cop. Timmy is so frustrated that he rushes straight back to the PD and kills Patrick for messing up his raid on the PD. This would be NLR. Once Timmy died in the PD he is supposed to forget all about what happened in his previous life. Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Metagame is when you use knowledge that you wouldn't get in real life. This is RP after all so you can't use something you wouldn't otherwise be able to use in real life. EX. Bob is running past a building when he hears someone say through the walls of the building. "Kill BOB!" Bob then uses that to his advantage and hides in his house. Then a hit man comes into his house and Bob immediately blasts them because he knows someone sent him to kill him because he heard someone say "Kill BOB!" Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? I attempt to use my power to stop them. But first I contact higher ups on discord stating what is happening. I also tell everyone on the server to leave immediately. This would prevent further harm. This has happened before on this server, i'm sure some of you remember that day... Durng a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? I calmly tp and jail the massRDMer and ban him. This is a very efficient way of solving this situation and allows me to continue with the sit in a matter of seconds. Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. It doesn't matter the rules are set in place for reasons. If the server randomly just sparked and it was full. All those props would still be in the street. The player might not want to delete them and it could cause chaos. If they really want to build something fun, they can go into their own private server. It can also cause frame loss if tons of players joined. Link to comment
