https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561199082294358/
a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234)
ToastyShrimp#9008
a4) What timezone are you located in?
Mountain Daylight Time
a5) How many in-game warns do you have?
5: RDM (x3), FailRP, and Prop Minge
a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why?
Yes, for Minge. It was like 3 months ago however, so I do not remember exactly what happened.
a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where?
Yes I do, I used to be a Senior Moderator for a now unfortunately shutdown server, RetributionRP. That server used ULX, and I do believe this server does too, so I am well aware of how to use ULX commands.
Please answer these questions with your honest opinion.
b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP?
After Retribution shut down and I lost my job moderating, I felt different. When I go on this server I do notice there are gaps where there are no moderators on and it is complete chaos, I want to be one of the moderators to help alleviate those time gaps so the server players can feel safe, and satisfied.
b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator?
I have great people skills. I am 16 years old and I am a supervisor at my local Burger King. That alone says a lot. I've had multiple customers leave great feedback about myself for my customer service, and I've even had one customer call head office about me. Anyways, I could bring my skills there to the table. I am good at de-escalating situations, and solving issues.
Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions:
c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished.
RDM is when a player damages another player within the game for no roleplay reason, or intent. The same could be said for RDA, just instead it is arresting. These should both end up with warning consequences, and possibly banishments if taken into bulk quantities of RDM/ RDA.
c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated.
NLR (New Life Rule), is the rule in place that allows certain RP players to be protected after making a RP-based kill in game. These rules state that the victim of the kill cannot return to the death site, or react with the killer for 2 minutes. In the case of a raid, the player cannot return until the raider and their party have adverted they are over.
c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence.
Metagame is when a player uses information that their in-game character would be unaware of.. A popular case of this is when people use the push to talk to see if there are other people inside a base.
Please explain how you would handle each of these situations:
d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react?
I would first off start recording, I would try and contact a Senior Moderator, or Administrator if possible. I would remind that moderator that what they were doing is not allowed in the staff code of conduct. Then I would wait for said Administrator to respond..
d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation?
I would teleport that individual to myself, and jail them. I would resume my initial sit, or ask another moderator to either resolve my sit, or issue the ban to the jailed player.
d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets.
I would remind them that it is not allowed in the rules, and kindly ask them to become hobos and move it to the sidewalks. Or suggest a large base for them so they have the space to build freely.
