I believe I've been banned 2-3 times. Two were from mass RDM. One in the beginning when I first joined and another which had happened before the server went down. There may have been a third time but as of now I cannot remember what said ban was. a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? 7. My prior staffing experience was here on Xeno. I had been a Senior mod multiple times and had been one of the few to work on mod apps. I still remember much of the time I had spent as mod and even some of the commands. Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? I want to volunteer again because now that the server is back, I'd like to offer my assistance since I know its short staffed due to the downtime the server had experienced. I'd like to help bring order the best I can from past experience. b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? I'd think I'd be a good moderator due to my past experience and due to having prior experience with many members of staff. As well as having a good understanding of the rules stated in the motd. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. 1. RDM is "Random Deathmatch" which is where a player kills another player for no reason. Players who commit RDM are to warned be warned and alerted to there misdoings. If said RDM is continued it could lead to a ban for constant RDM or depending on how many are killed by said player a ban for mass RDM. RDA is "Random Arrest" this is when a player in the role of a civil protection class arrests another player for no reason. A player who commits RDA is to be warned and the arrested player is to be freed. If the player continues to RDA they can be forced demoted and/or warned until either threshold is reached or player is banned for constant RDA. c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. 2. NLR or "New Life Rule" is where a player must forget all information from their previous life and cannot return to said death location until 120 seconds has passed and/or if a raid was in progress is to have finished (This includes Civil Protection and PD Raids). Some instances of this are: returning to a raid to continue after being killed by the defending party, dying while defending a base and returning to defend, being killed than returning your death site. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. 3. Metagaming is using outside knowledge in which your in-game character would have no way of knowing. This could be information gained through Discord or other said 3rd party applications. Some examples are: a friend sending you the code for a base through Discord, a member sending you a text message alerting you about an in-game event. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? 1. Record said higher up abusing their power. Compile as much information and proof as possible and bring to the next direct higher up available. I'd avoid confronting said higher up to avoid any ill actions which could come of said confrontation. d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? 2. I'd pause said sit and apologize before jailing the Mass RDMer. I'd then TP to them state the reason for their jailing than ban the Mass RDMer for 2 weeks. I'd than return to the sit I had just left and continue where I had left off. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. 3. I'd ask them kindly to switch to hobos and move to the sidewalk. If they fail to listen I'd delete their props and ask again for them to move to the sidewalk and become hobos. If they fail to do so a third time I'd warn them for prop minge. I'd continue to warn them until they change roles and remove their props and if they failed to do so warn them til the threshold kicks and/or bans them. Yet we were never pulled aside we were grabbed then banned. We had no normal sit just you telling us we were banned. The only time you verbally warned was for me messing around as Batman in a sit.

You say you warned us but both Bubba and I don’t remember hearing any verbal warning. Like I said the only one I had gotten was 1-2 hours before this situation. If you did verbally warn us then you did it entirely wrong. You’re supposed to bring us to a sit and tell us that we were causing trouble not just say it out loud or in chat as in the moment nobody would’ve heard you and as we see nobody did hear you.

So we ask what we did and after a long while of just silence Forget says we're being banned for Nitrp. We had no previous warning and no sit. I was given a verbal for messing around about an hour or 2 back the only warning i had the whole time i was on today, while Bubba wasn't even given the luxury of being given any sort of warning. Bubba and I we're just up and banned. Bubba and I would've gladly accepted a warn for NLR and RDM but a ban I feel is a bit strong. Once, I was banned for Mass RDM this was all the way back when I first joined. I didn't actually Mass RDM but Zyngas banned me and I have no evidence. a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? I think I'd be a good mod for many reasons. Simply i'm someone who isn't biased and I do believe that spending time trying to figure out who was in the wrong is best way to moderate Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. Rdm or Random death match is simply a player going up to another player and murdering them. Ex: Agent walks up to Poopsandwich and guns him down for "breaking his chairs" when really Poop didn't. A person who commits Rdm would be simply warned for it. Mass Rdm is a more extreme version of Rdm where a person kills there or more people for no reason in a short amount of time. This would result in a 2 week ban. Rda or Random arrest is when an officer/swat arrests someone for no reason. Ex: Agent cuffs and arrests Rice Cooker for "being a mean guy". This would simply result in a warning. Mass Rda is when someone goes and randomly arrests a massive amount of people (This is much harder now due to the new arrest system). This would result in a 2 week ban. c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. Nlr or New life rule is when a player dies they cannot go back to a location for 2 minutes or until a raid/pd raid is finished and they must forget all past life information. Exs: Agent dies in a raid and then comes back and kills Sakupen who was raiding, Agent dies as an officer during a pd raid and goes back to pd and tries to stop the Pd Raid, Agent kills himself to escape an event then comes back to take revenge. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. How do you handle the situation? I stop my sit and tp jail the offender. I then tell the offender what they're being banned for then and then ban them for 2 weeks or for as long as i can. Then I return to my sit. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. I ask them to stop and that if they want to build on the sidewalk they can be hobos and if they don't listen I'll verbally warn them. Then if they continue I'd warn them for propminge and I'd continue warning them until they either listen or are kicked or banned for reaching the warn threshold. Howdy Lizard and thanks for applying Pros: I’ve seen you on Cons: App errors, recent ban What to fix: c1) Never defines what RDM or RDA is c2) Forgot that if you die during a raid you cannot return til said raid is called over c3) Metagaming is when you take information your character shouldn’t know and use it to your advantage, the example should be more like seeing someone’s base codes in “OOC” chat and then using them to raid said base d1) You wouldn’t bring this issue to an owner you would first record the abuser abusing then bring it to their higher up such as an admin d2) You would stop your sit and take care of the Mass RDMer which is a 2 week ban then return to your sit d3) You would ask them nicely to remove the props and that if they want to build near the street they can be hobos and build on the sidewalk. If they fail to listen You would warn them and if they continue warn them til they’re banned or kicked by the warn threshold. Howdy Pastel and Thanks for applying Pros: None Cons: Lied about your bans, app errors What to fix: c1) Mass RDA is a 2 week ban c2) Didn't explain that NLR means New life rule and that once you die, you lose all prior knowledge also forgot to mention that if you die during a raid that you cant return til the raid is over c3) That example wouldn't really be metagaming it would be more RDM, an example would be a cop seeing in ooc that you said "I got Meth" and then they come and raid you for meth. d1) You would record them abusing then bring it to a higher up, but if you want to talk to them its up to you. d2) You would deal with the Mass RDMer then return to your sit after banning them d3) You would ask nicely to delete their props and if they want to build near the street they should be a Hobo and build on the sidewalk and if they continue to not listen warn them til they stop or are kicked or banned for reaching the threshold. Conclusion: After reading your mod app and seeing the bans you have and what they're for I'm giving this app a -1. If they don"t listen then you warn them and if they continue to not listen you can warn them til they are kicked or banned by reaching the warning threshold.
