a5) How many in-game warns do you have?

None.

a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why?

No.

a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where?

Yes. I was staff on here for about 6-8 months, about 1-2 years ago. (I say 6-8 months because I was relatively inactive for about a month before my proper resignation.) I have also had a few, albeit minor staffing positions. I was the head moderator for about 8 months on a now-down TTT server about 4 years ago, and I staffed on a few mc servers in my time gone.

Please answer these questions with your honest opinion.
b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP?

I would love to return to the staff team due to a new interest in GMOD again, and this has been my favorite DarkRP server since I first joined 2 years ago. The community has always been very accepting, and the staff have been reasonable. However, as of recent, and due to quarantine, I have found myself on the server during peak hour with no staff members on. I think this is probably due to time zone issues, but I would love to be able to help out on the server. I also would love to return as a staff member, and meet all these new faces on the staff team. I would love to be able to introduce new places to the server, and to generally help out the server during these tough times. I will always feel like I belong here, on the staff team or not.

b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator?

I believe I would make a valuable member of the staff team due to history with the server, and due to me knowing the server's rules by heart. I know the server in and out, and know of all the little nuances and other things with the rules. I can control my temper, and handle high-octane situations well, especially when the server can get heated at some times. I also can connect with most normal players, knowing how to chill out and make a few jokes. There are many friends I have taken from the server, staff team or no. Having a bridge with the community and staff team is vital for having a server that has a decently longevity (an issue the server hasn't really had an problem with, but still).

I understand that I had a bit of a phase after my staffing had concluded where I became a little mingy. Never enough to get warned or banned, but enough to be a shitter and a thorn in the side of the staff team. I'm genuinely sorry for it, and I don't really have an excuse for it. All I can really say is that I have changed, and show you with my behavior in-game. There isn't a whole lot my words can do here, so I'm leaving it here.

Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions:

c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished.

RDM is Random Death Match, and RDA is Random Arrest. RDM is where a player kills another player without and RP reason to do so, and RDA is when a player arrests another player without a RP reason to do so. Punishment for both would depend on the situation, and the player. If it was a new player, I would give them a verbal warning, and let them know to read through the MOTD. I would also try to help them get a good grasp on how the game works, if they need any extra help. However, depending on the player, and their background it could result in an in-game warn, or worse. If it is repeated RDM / RDA on the same person, I would probably ban them for a week for Repeated RDM/RDA. If it was en masse, I would ban for 2 weeks for Mass RDM/RDA.

c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated.

NLR stands for New Life Rule. The New Life Rule dictates that anyone who dies in a certain area or activity cannot return there in a certain period of time, 2 minutes for most areas of the game, and that they cannot reference any information from a previous life. However, for certain activities, there may be some specific rules. For example, for Raids / PD Raids. For those activities, if you die in that activity, you cannot return to that area until it has concluded, and the 2 minute time period has passed.

c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence.

Metagaming is where you do something you wouldn't do in an RP situation, or where you break RP to gain something over someone else. For example, if I were planning to raid a base, I can't die around it to try to see inside of it. Another example is where I would be getting kidnapped or mugged, I can't use the kill command in console to get out of it. The most common (imo) would be the VC scenario. This is where multiple players are in a voice chat, and a player gets killed/gets mugged/ kidnapped, and that player tells the other players in the call where and who is doing this to them; resulting in those players going there and killing the person that attacked the other player. Metagaming often results in warns, but can also often result in NITRPO (No Intent To Roleplay) or Minge bans.

Please explain how you would handle each of these situations:
d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react?

I would record it or take screenshots, then report it to my higher-up. I would also try to damage-control the situation, and make sure too many player's don't end up with a super negative experience to go along with it.

d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation?

I would jail the Person RDMing, and continue with my sit. If there are any other staff members online, I would alert them to the situation and let them handle. When my sit has concluded, I would try to handle the crowd that had inevitably grown due to them being jailed, and ban them for 2 weeks (or put in a ban request if I were TMOD, or if they were using some sort of aimbot / bhop / walls etc).

d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets.

I would let them know that that is against the server rules, and advise them to buy a large house in Industrial, or the house with the backyard in Suburbs. Another solution would be for them to go to the Hobo class, allowing them to build on the sidewalks and parking areas. This gives a little more wiggleroom to build, and encourage to read through the MOTD. If they refuse both, I would advise them to a Sandbox server. If they continue to refuse, I would have to remove their props, and kick them if necessary. If they continue to come back and break rules, I may issue a ban.

You were a pretty decent staff when you left last time. Although yes you were indeed mingey while you were not staff but I can tell you've definitely changed. I believe you're a good fit for the staff team due to your knowledge and previous staffing history. Good application aswell with a good amount of details.

hihi ripple
I vaguely remember you becoming a slight minge after you resigned last, but that was more than a hot minute ago and you've obviously gone back to being a good boyo
Previous staff, obviously. Decently active in game and very active on the discord, App looks good, and you're really nice in-game
