2128 hours on GMOD comes from staffing TTT and Dark RP
I have staff experience from discord as well
I have also been taking notes on warns and watching the mods do their jobs and follow their example

Please answer these questions with your honest opinion.

b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP?

Out of all rp servers i’ve joined looking for a community/server I could plant myself in Xeno was the only one I found enjoyable and made me want to donate. I want to be able to make new players feel at home and have a place that when they get home from their daily life and decided to hop on a game Xeno is their first choice.

b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator?

My prior staff experience makes me an easy train as I already know how to do basic things. My ability to learn things fast has been quoted to be extremely scary. And I can be on even into the latest at night.

Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions:

c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished.

RDM is Random Death Match| When a player kills another player for without cause or reason| I would grab the two players and ask them what happened. Then look into logs or render(yes I know the render exists and I know Xeno has one)  and do a double check. After which I would warn the player. If it was Mass RDM I would jail them and give them the appropriate ban time following

RDA is Random Arrest| Unlike how any player can RDM only Civil Protection can arrest people| I would teleport the arrested to me ask them their break down and then teleport the CP to me. Asking him why. To find out was it a law made by the mayor(like random weapon checking the player wasn’t aware of) or if the CP was just acting in random. The CP would be warned and the player let go. Should there be multiple cases over time but not close enough to be considered mass I would demote the CP as well.

c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated.

NLR is the New Life Rule - When you die you can’t go back to your place of death. - to be more specific if you were killed in a raid you can’t go back until the raid is over and done. Going back to do this is breaking NLR. Another example is if someone kills you and you go back and kill the person(this is not only NLR but also RDM).

c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence.

Metagame is using knowledge outside of the game from what you would know. If a hitman confessed to having a hit on your base/party member and you attempted to kill the hitman and they folded you like an omelet then tell your buddy <hitman name> has a hit on them in party chat

You have: One count metagame| One count NLR| One count attempt rdm
If your friend finds and kills the hitman before being attacked
Your friend has: One count metagame| One Count RDM

Please explain how you would handle each of these situations:

d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react?
Screenshot, Screenrecord, and report them. In game at the time I’d ask them to stop and that as staff we have to set the example.

d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation?

I’d pause the sit jail the player to halt the killing Ban for Mass RDM | NITRP for 2 weeks

d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets.

I’d tell them they’d have to switch to hobo if they want to build like that. If it’s only those 2 and me that’s three people and I’d be straight and say “hey I get it no one can complain but can you switch to hobo and at least follow up with the rules.” I’d mention I don’t want to warn them but will if i have to and delete the props if they continue without choosing to switch. And if they do switch I’d thank them and maybe even join in as hobo.

Pros:

Very active

No bans

Good interactions

Cons:

Needs a firmer grasp on the rules

Personal Experiences:

You definitely have a keen interest in joining the staff team which is good. However, I could've warned you multiple times with your staff app up yet refrained from it as they seemed like genuine mistakes. I think you should learn the rules a little more before coming onto the staff team.
