a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where?

I was a moderator for IronRP for about 2 months, although, sadly,  I was removed from staff due inactivity caused by school.

Please answer these questions with your honest opinion.

b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP?

I’ve been a member of XenoRP for 2 years now, and ever since I first joined this community, I’ve fallen in love with being a part of it. I feel that with my experience as a member of the server, I can help improve the server for others and keeping those who break the rules at bay.

b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator?
I believe that my best attribute that would make me a strong fit as a moderator would be my inviting personality as well as my long membership towards the server. Also,  I’d be quite active for most days of the week, as well extremely active during weekends. I care a lot about this server, and I really want to help make it thrive by keeping it in strong condition.

Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions:

c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished.

RDM stands for Random Deathmatch, which is when a player attacks another player without fair reason. Players who perform said action should be punished with a warning.

RDA stands for Random Arrest, which is when a law enforcement member arrests a player without permitted reason. Players who commit RDA should be punished with a warning.

c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated.

NLR stands for “New Life Rule”, which is when a player who was killed must ignore events from before they died. If they were killed when their base was being raided, then they must wait for the NLR timer or until the raid is over.

To demonstrate my knowledge of the NLR Rule, I will you a story, a story about an orange juice carton who once broke NLR. Sir Orange was raiding the base of Mr. Milk with his party members. After he opened the first fading door, he was killed by Mr. Milk during the raid. Sir Orange believed Mr. Milk would not notice if Sir Orange rejoined the raid, and so Sir Orange returned to the raid and then killed Mr. Milk after Sir Orange already died in the raid. But Mr. Milk did notice, and so he submitted a ticket to the admins, and Sir Orange was brought to a sit and was warned for breaking the rule of NLR as once one dies in a raid, they may not return until the raid has ended. Another story is of 50 PerCent, he was being arrested by Sheriff Carton when his party member quickly saved 50 PerCent from the Sheriff. The Sheriff was so angry that he came back and arrested both 50 PerCent & his party member, Signor Heavy Whipping Cream. Sheriff Carton was then accused of breaking NLR and RDA, and so he was warned once for breaking NLR & twice for RDA. Now Sheriff Carton hides at Melon RP, never to be heard from again.
(I wanted to go overkill on this and made a captivating story to help display my knowledge of NLR, so please enjoy)

c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence.

"Metagaming" is when a player transfers real life data & information to grant themselves an advantage in roleplaying. One example would be a police officer was reading chat and witnesses two friends chatting to each other, in the OOC chat, about planning a fight between each other to test their skills. So then the police officer goes to each of the friends and arrests them, claiming that they were being arrested for attempted murder. A second example is a devilish one. Player 1 had a very fun time basing with Player A the other night, so he went over to Player A and asked if they could base together again. Player A tells Player 1 that he’s already megabasing with his friends, as well as the party being full. Feeling betrayed, Player 1 finds out that it is Player A who owns the keypads. Remembering what Player A’s keycode was from last night, Player 1 uses the code to raid the megabase of Player A & his party.

Please explain how you would handle each of these situations:

d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react?

I would first confront the higher up asking why they are abusing their powers (except Zingus, we don’t question his Tekkit turtle program), and no matter the answer, I would then notify the Head Admins or, if necessary, Phantom or Zingus. The outcome of the abuser will, no matter what, out of jurisdiction.

d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation?

First, I’d start by jailing the Mass RDMer. I would then continue my sit until it is done. Once the original sit is finished, I go to deal with the mass RDMer (2 week ban), and would continue my patrol. If I am not able to finish the current sit in a short amount of time, I would notify another staff member, asking them to help deal with the RDMer while I finish my sit.

d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets.

My first step would be to check on what it is they are building, to see how disruptive it is to the mobility of the street. Then, I would speak to the two players and handle it the same way I’d handle any player building in the streets when the server’s active: Give them a verbal warning and have them remove the props. If they ignore my verbal warning, I would remove the props myself and give the players a warning for building on the street.
