Please describe the staff member's unjust behavior: Teleporting and bringing people while off duty, and is making laws that are against the rules.

Please provide any available evidence to back your claims:  Law 6 is against the rules as it allows people to aos anyone that they claim is using slander. Law 7 is against the rules because there is no physical way to make it across the map in 10 seconds making it so cops can just arrest anyone. 

 

Edit: Brian has also been asked but another moderator to remove the laws as it is against the rules which was confirmed by Gibby.

So bit by bit,

Sponge had broken the rules and he was mingeing ruining other players RP I didn't want to go on duty as I was mayor so I brought him to me so he would stop mingeing and asked Moo if she could handle the sit while I had him away from other the players(1).

 

At the time I was under the impression that law number 6 was not against the rules, in fact it is a grey area as freedom of speech is not stated anywhere in the rules. As soon as it was criticized by another moderator I straight away asked a higher up member of staff as moderators can give their opinion to other moderators/trial moderators but in the end we are the same rank which is why I went to 3 different admins and a senior moderator and in the end agreed that since it isn't stated anywhere to do or not to do it, that it won't be done in the future which I am now aware of. The only reason I made it a law in the first place was due to the fact that it is against the law in many countries.

 

The law number 7 occurred during a lockdown which was when all cops would be coming back to the PD. If someone was in PD they can run to either of the tunnels in just about 10 seconds and no officers would be over in that area or they would be failrping since they had to come to the PD.

Hello Cody, thank you for creating a staff report! I have read through it and discussed the issue with the mod in question, and here is my verdict:

• The laws were invalid at the time and he has been correct on those. I would like to add he did contact another moderator about them after a player brought it up
• If a mod is playing on a special class (such as mayor which you need to be elected to) and needs to deal with a pressing situation, they can use commands off-duty. In this case, Sponge was being very mingy and needed to be stopped. Brian brought the player and sent him over to Moo so they could deal with him.
