-1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences Never seen or heard of you before. I waited a few days to respond to this just so I could see if I ever saw you, but several days have passed of me being very active and I still haven't seen you a single time. Errors in Application c1) You don't define RDM or RDA as you were asked to, and your punishments are incredibly vague. c2) You don't talk about how it applies to raids, and you don't specifically mention how long the NLR timer lasts. c3) Still sorta vague and you don't list any specific examples. d1) Don't report on the forums. Gather evidence and report to a higher-up. d2) Immediately jail and deal with the Mass RDMer first. d3) Rules must be followed at all times, even when nobody else is on the server. Pros Application is okay. No warns or bans. Cons Inactive, and you don't seem to have a great understanding of the rules or common-sense staff procedures. Conclusion It's gonna be a no from me. I haven't seen you at all, and you don't seem to know the rules very well. You should become more active and more familiar with the rules before you apply to be a staff member.

-1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences Never seen you nor heard of you before. I have no thoughts nor personal experiences with you. Errors in Application a2) This is not a link to your steam profile. a4) This isn't a timezone. a5) You were warned three times, and-- no joke-- every single one of them was today. a7) Didn't even answer this question. b2) The assertion that you're "always on" is debatable. c1) You don't go into detail or describe the punishments as you were asked. c2) Extremely, extremely oversimplified answer that doesn't mention the NLR timer. c3) You didn't even try here. d1) Gather evidence first. d2) Moderators can't freeze, you'd have to jail. Also this answer is very under-detailed. d3) Hobos cannot build in the streets. Pros I guess you've never been banned? Cons You were warned three times today. Also, this application is very sloppy and you put very little effort into most of the answers. You're also not very active and don't seem to know even the most basic rules. I don't think I've ever seen a moderator application with this many major errors before. Conclusion You are not fit to be a staff member. You need to become far more active, get fewer warns in such a short period of time so close to posting an application, and put a lot more effort into your application to be taken seriously.

Neutral Thoughts and Personal Experiences I've seen you on a few times, but never really interacted with you-- and I'd definitely never seen you before this week. But you at least seem active now. EDIT: I'm not impressed with your attitude in the discord. You insinuated that because no moderators were on at 11 AM, none of us care about the server-- and I'm told by other mods that you were expressing that same sentiment to other players in-game. Errors in Application Genuinely none that I could find, well done! Pros Has been active recently, seems to have a very good handle on the rules, no warns/bans, extremely good application. Cons Haven't seen you before until recently. EDIT: Attitude in discord and in-game is extremely poor. Conclusion (EDITED) Despite your good application and handle on the rules, I think I'd like an attitude adjustment from you before you apply to be staff.

Neutral (Leaning -1) Thoughts and Personal Experiences Never seen or heard of you before, and I'm often on at the times you say you are. I have, however, seen plenty of people with the "Officer" moniker on in the last week or so acting pretty mingy. I don't know if you're associated with this group, but it's the best I got. Errors in Application c1) Didn't even mention punishments or go into any nuance about different kinds of RDM/RDA. c2) Did not mention the NLR timer. d1) You should collect evidence and report to people higher-up than the abuser. d2) Deal with the Mass RDMer first. d3) What if they neglected to stop? You don't go into much detail. Pros You seem to have a baseline understanding of the server rules, and hasn't been warned in a while. Cons Application is sloppy and riddled with pretty major errors and omissions. I also don't think you're very active, though to be fair, I may have just missed you. Conclusion I'd personally like a much better application and more playtime from you before you apply to be a staff member.

Neutral (Leaning +1) Thoughts and Personal Experiences Haven't seen you on very much, so I don't have many actual thoughts. Though given how often you change your name apparently, I might just not recognize you, so I'm willing to give you the benefit of the doubt there. Errors in Application b2) I'd love a few more specific qualities you have other than "I don't break the rules". :p c1) Repeated RDM/RDA is a 1-week ban, and Mass RDM/RDA is a 2-week ban. The only RDM/RDA-related punishment that is 5 days is RDM/RDA in a sit. c2) The "five minutes" part is wrong, you just can't go back to the base until the raid is over. Same with PD raids. d1) Upload footage and send it to the Admins/Owners, you don't need to bother pulling them into a sit or asking them to stop. d2) Deal with the Mass RDMer first, then return to the original sit. d3) Hobos cannot build in the streets. Pros Apparently very active, though that's hard to verify personally. You clearly put a lot of time and effort into the application, and of the things you got wrong, none of them were particularly major. Additionally, you haven't been warned since mid-November. Cons I haven't seen you around very much, and there are still more wrong answers in this application than I'd like. The five warns are a little concerning, even if they were a while ago. Conclusion I'm absolutely willing to give you a chance, I'd just like to personally see you around more. As long as you remain active and on good behavior and are open to corrections, I think you might just make a good Moderator. :)

Neutral Thoughts and Personal Experiences I know that you're plenty active, I've seen you on a decent amount within the last few days-- I haven't seen you much before that, though, and I'd like a little more playtime. I've spoken to you a few times, and you seemed a little mingy for my taste. Errors in Application c1) Could be a little more specific, but overall good answer. d2) This answer is pretty confusing, as you just sort of list all possible reactions-- but you should deal with the Mass RDMer before returning to your initial sit. Pros You have a pretty dang good application with very few (if any) errors, and I know you've been active recently. You seem to be genuinely passionate about this sort of thing. Cons I haven't seen you on that much before recently; also, your very recent warn and still-pretty-recent ban is giving me serious pause. Conclusion You seem like a good candidate overall; the only thing preventing me from giving you a +1 is that you were warned only three days before your application went up, and your most recent ban-- which was for minge-- was approximately two and a half months ago in late October. It was a while ago, but still, that's a bit recent for my liking. Considering that you've exhibited somewhat-mingy behavior in-game since then, I have my reservations. I'd say that if you're on good behavior for a little while longer and can prove that you'll take this seriously, you'd be a pretty good staff member.

-1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences I've met you a single time on the server-- I have never seen you before or since. You asked me how to check how much time you have on the server, which I have to imagine was because you wanted to put in a mod application. If you're so unsure you have the requisite hours needed to apply, I'm going to say you probably don't have enough experience with our server to know the rules well enough to be effective staff. Errors in Application Just to get this out of the way, this is a very very sloppy application. Not much time has been put into it at all, it's riddled with spelling and grammatical errors, and quite a bit of the content itself is wrong as well. a2) You aren't in the discord server, one of the basic prerequisites to being a moderator. b1) This isn't a very good reason to want to be a moderator. b2) This answer makes very little sense, even in context. c1) This answer is extremely vague, and doesn't even explain what RDM or RDA are, just says what the acronyms mean. c2) Technically true, but more detail is required-- this isn't the only way to break NLR. c3) This is an example of metagaming, not the definition. d1) Gather evidence first. d2) Deal with the Mass RDMer first, then return to your sit. d3) This answer is vague. What "different location"? Pros You have no warns or bans, but that's because you've barely played on the server. Cons Extremely shoddy application, little playtime, bare-bones understanding of the rules and server policies. Conclusion You aren't fit to be staff. You need to put a lot more time and effort into your application, and log a lot more playtime before you should think of applying to be a moderator.

Neutral (Leaning -1) Thoughts and Personal Experiences I know you're somewhat active and you've been on the server for a while, but honestly, I haven't seen you on much lately and I haven't spoken to you very often. I don't have any meaningful thoughts about you, other than I don't like that you waited until exactly 10 minutes before the moderator application meeting to post your app. Errors in Application Your application as a whole is pretty sloppy, and has a lot of typos and errors. c1) Punishments are way off, and not enough detail is gone into. You don't even mention the punishments for RDA. c2) You mention the NLR timer, but you don't seem to know what the exact time is for our server, which worries me if you've truly been playing for two years. d1) Make sure you collect evidence-- don't just report it. d2) Again, your punishment for Mass RDM is way off. d3) It doesn't matter if they're hobos. Pros If you've been on as long as you say you have, you should know the rules pretty well by now. You also have no warns or bans. Cons Haven't seen you recently, and despite your high playtime, you don't seem to have as firm an understanding of the rules as I'd like. Also, as aforementioned, your application is pretty sloppy and riddled with errors. Conclusion I don't know you very well, so I'm going to withhold complete judgement; however, I'm not impressed by your application, and I think you should become a little more active before you apply for staff.

-1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences I've only seen you a single time before, to my knowledge. You don't seem very active. No personal experiences to speak of because you aren't on the server enough. At a glance of your steam profile, you don't have a profile picture and it's incredibly sparse-- only 3 people on your friends list, only one group, despite having 5 years of service. That doesn't sit very well with me, though I might just be paranoid. Errors in Application Application is generally sloppy and riddled with typos; it could've had a lot more time and effort put into it. b2) You didn't even finish typing this answer. c1) Please be more specific regarding repeated offenses. c2) The NLR timer is 2 minutes (120 seconds), not three minutes. Your example of NLR is also very confusing and seems to be more emblematic of metagaming. c3) Is plagiarized. d1) You would collect evidence before reporting, and ideally report to a higher-up than the abuser before the forums. d2) You would immediately jail the MRDMer and deal with them first, then go back to your current sit. Pros You have no warns or bans, at least. Cons You're very inactive, don't seem to know the rules very well, and didn't put very much effort or thought into your application. Conclusion Between your lack of activity on the server and the discord, the general shoddiness of this application, and your apparent ignorance of the rules themselves, I don't think you'd be a good fit for staff. I'd recommend becoming a lot more active on the server and learning the rules.

Neutral (Leaning -1) Thoughts and Personal Experiences I don't remember ever having seen nor heard of you before in the server, and I am very active. I'd prefer a lot more activity from prospective moderators. Errors in Application c1) I'd prefer a lot more detail for this answer, specifically regarding first offenses and the punishments/definitions of Mass/Repeated RDM/RDA. c2) You didn't mention the NLR timer. d1) Again, I'd prefer a little more detail. And you should report regardless of whether or not they stop. Pros Mod application is decent, and you seem to have a pretty good handle on the rules as a whole. Cons Your application could have a bit more detail, and you seem very inactive. It's a bad sign when nobody has ever seen you on recently. Conclusion I don't know nearly enough about you to know if you'd be fit for staff. You seem to know the rules well, but you aren't nearly active enough for my liking. I'd much prefer you became a lot more active before you apply to be staff.

-1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences I've seen you in-game a lot, so at least you're active. I've personally warned you since your application went up, though-- you were propclimbing, and I gave you a verbal warning to stop doing so. You didn't seem to take me very seriously, and continued to propclimb when I thought I wasn't looking, just to mess with me. I saw you do it again, and you were issued a proper warning. This sort of behavior makes me question how well you'd fair as a staff member. Errors in Application a5) You have three warns; twice for propclimb, and once for flooding the logs by mass suiciding. a6) You were banned on January 2nd, 2019, for Mass RDM. c1) Punishments are off. The first offense may be a verbal depending on the severity of the infraction, "jail time" is rarely used as a punishment, and it's only Mass RDM if it has occurred within a short timeframe-- multiple disconnected RDMs is considered Repeated RDM, which is a 1-week ban. c2) You don't mention the NLR timer, as Andy pointed out. The punishments you listed are extremely vague. d2) Moderators cannot use the Freeze command; you would have to jail them. Beyond that, as Andy said, deal with the MRDM-er first and then return to your current sit. d3) See Andy's response. Pros You're active, and you know the rules. Even though you choose to break them frequently. Cons Extremely mingy in-game. You like to see what you can get away with, and have very recent warns. I don't believe you would take this position seriously. Conclusion I don't think you're fit for staff even a little bit. You're mingy, you break the rules on purpose constantly, and you couldn't even clean up your act while you had an application up. I'd like you to change your behavior considerably before I think you're even a little ready to be a staff member.

+1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences You seem like a pretty cool guy as a whole. I've played with you a few times and I've been in the VC with you, and it's obvious you care about the server and want to improve it. Your app were suspended because you were spotted prop minging a bit in the week leading up to the meeting for the application meeting, but I haven't seen you do it since. Beyond that you've been a great player who has been very active and fun to talk to. Errors in Application No errors! Your application is very good, if very slightly under-detailed. The punishment for d3 being a 7-day Mass Problock ban is a little harsh, but if they were given a Warn beforehand I suppose it's an accurate one. Pros Very active player who knows the rules, has been accepted before. You've remained active and on good behavior since your application was suspended, and haven't broken any rules to my knowledge. Cons The recent prop minging is a little worrying to me, but you haven't done it for a week, and as long as you continue to not do that I don't think there will be any issues. You were originally demoted for not meeting your quota as a Trial Moderator, which is something I hope will not happen again. Conclusion You're active, know the rules, have been on very good behavior, and are fun to talk to. As long as you keep the prop minge as under control and you meet your ticket quota, I think you'd be a great fit for the staff team.

Your In-Game (RP) name: Waltz Player's In-Game (RP) name: UNgg FNN Player's Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:577487729 Describe how the player broke the rules: This "player" is an alternate account of the same person who has been joining under new accounts for the duration of the night in question (December 29th, 2020). They proceed to aimbot and spam a link to child pornography in chat (or, at least what they said was a link to child pornography). Evidence of the player breaking the rules: See attached. I wasn't recording at the time and therefore have no "proof" of aimbot, but there is certainly plenty of proof of the chat spamming. I promise, however, that they were mass RDMing using an aimbot or similar targeting program.

a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? Waltz a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. https://steamcommunity.com/id/TheSpiderMafia/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234) Luna~#2900 a4) What timezone are you located in? EST a5) How many in-game warns do you have? 0 a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? Never been banned! a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? I moderated on Xeno RP for 5-7 months (I think?), making it all the way up to Senior Moderator. I like to think I did a good job! :) I have also staffed on many, many different Garry's Mod servers of all different types since I began playing the game in 2008-- including LightRP, DarkRP, Sandbox, Murder, and Trouble in Terrorist Town. I've even owned several DarkRP servers and a Murder server! Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? I've got a lot of free time now, and I have a lot of fond memories of XenoRP. In addition, I've seen a lot of rulebreakers and minges in the 10+ hours I've played since I came back. I'd love to help do my part to keep things running smoothly like I used to! b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? I've been playing DarkRP since it was LightRP, and I have a lot of experience moderating. I also consider myself fair and not too strict. Additionally, I am extremely familiar with this particular server's rules and mod tools. When I previously moderated on this server, I had a very very good record. : Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM is Random Deathmatch-- or killing someone for no valid in-RP reason. ARDM is the same thing, only attempted RDM-- in that you try to kill someone with no reason, but fail. RDA is Random Arrest-- or arresting someone for no valid in-RP reason. ARDA, like ARDM, is the "attempted" version of this. There's also RDT (random tazing), CarDM (destroying/attacking a car for no reason), and several similar infractions. First-time violations are usually punished with an in-game Warning, while repeated infractions can be punished by a ban (1 week for Repeated RDM/RDA, and 2 weeks for Mass RDM/RDA). c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR is the New Life Rule-- the roleplay rule that stipulates your "character" does not remember anything from their past life. You also cannot interact with the person who killed you for five minutes, or return to the area in which you died for five minutes. Apart from the obvious two ways to break NLR just mentioned, you can also break it by "remembering" something in your past life-- for instance, if you are a police officer who finds out that someone has Money Clickers in their house, die, and then place a warrant on them for having Money Clickers when you respawn. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Metagaming is using out-of-RP information to your advantage in roleplaying situations. For example, this could be holding down your talk button without actually speaking to see if someone you want to raid is currently home. Or, arresting someone for having the "Hit Accepted" marker above their heads. This can also be something to the effect of using a third-party platform like Discord to give yourself an unfair advantage. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? I gather information using a screen recording software or any other means available, compile the evidence, and submit a Staff Report. d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? I jail the MRDM-er, finish my current sit, then go deal with them. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. The rules should be followed at all times, no matter how many people are online. I will politely ask them to stop building in the streets, and I may issue a warn if they don't listen to me, but I will be particularly lenient given that nobody else is online. The elephant in the room for a lot of people is of course DeltaRP, the DarkRP server that I started a little bit after I left Xeno. To make a long story short, after spending a very long time in production, the project is currently suspended due to a lack of personal motivation following my grandfather's death, bad family issues cropping up, and financial problems. Apparently there are rumors (???) about this, something I was only made aware of a few minutes ago-- but if you have any questions, feel free to contact me. :) I hope to be accepted and help try to keep XenoRP a minge-free environment and running smoothly once again!
