  1. -1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences You're pretty active, and I've seen you on a lot. Had both good and bad experiences, though you've struck me as somewhat mingy. Errors in Application a6) You don't explain any of your bans, as you were asked to. b1) Just a minor inconsistency nitpick, but didn't you say in a7 that you already have been staff on Garry's Mod before? c1) You don't really define the terms, just give the acronyms' meanings. Punishments are also off a bit. c2) I don't know where you're getting the "five minutes" thing from. The NLR timer is 2 minutes for everything, except for raids, which you can't go back to in general until the raid has concluded. c3) You only give an example, you don't define. d1) TPing and jailing an abusing staff member would serve literally no purpose, as they can just unjail themselves. Don't confront them. Just record and report to their team admin. d2) Before or after your current sit has concluded? d3) What if they persist? Pros Active, and it has been a while since your last warn. Cons Last banned about a month ago, and even though they were a while ago, still way too many warns and bans for my liking. Your application also has a lot of errors. Also a bit mingy for my taste. Conclusion I think you should remain on good behavior, spend more time on your next application, familiarize yourself more with the rules, and re-apply on another date.
  2. I think this would be really cool, assuming it's feasible. I know that @phantom mentioned in the Discord that Atmos, the most popular day/night/weather mod, is pretty resource-intensive and conflicts with some of the other addons. If it's feasible, I'd say +1. Otherwise, I don't think this is particularly necessary or would enhance the playing experience all that much.
  3. Neutral (Leaning -1) Thoughts and Personal Experiences I know you used to be active, and I've seen you on a lot and interacted with you a lot-- we've had good and bad moments. However, I don't remember having seen you even once since your last application. Errors in Application None, pretty good application, if a little difficult to read grammatically-speaking. Pros Pretty decent grasp on the rules, last unappealed ban was a while ago, last warns weren't that recent (though still probably a little too recent for my liking), at least formerly pretty active. Cons Not as active recently. Warns are still more recent than I'd like. Conclusion Really, the thing giving me the most pause about you is that I genuinely do not remember seeing you on a single time since last time you applied to be staff. Your warns are more recent than ideal, but I'd be willing to look past that if I'd just seen you even once. I'd say that you should become a lot more active and stay on very good behavior, and I might change my opinion before the end of the week.
  4. -1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences I've seen you on once or twice before, but not for a little while. The only notable experiences I've had with you have been mostly negative; you seem kinda mingy, and I had to warn you for breaking NLR. Errors in Application a5) You received a warn from me on February 8th for breaking NLR. c1) Punishments are off, and you don't actually define either term. You just say what the acronym means. c2) The NLR timer is 2 minutes. I would hope you'd know this, because I explained the rule in detail to you when I had to warn you for it. c3) You provide no examples. d1) Don't do any of those things. Record evidence and send it to the staff member's Admin. d2) Pause your sit immediately and deal with the MRDMer, then go back to your original sit. d3) The rules don't go away when people leave the server. No matter who is on, all players must follow the rules at all times. Pros Few warns, no bans. I guess. Cons Clear lack of understanding of the rules, recently warned, low activity, badly-formatted application, general minginess. Conclusion You need far more playtime and a far better understanding of the rules before I would consider you a good staff candidate.
  5. -1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences I think I've seen you maybe once before, a couple weeks ago. Though your name is generic enough that it could easily have been someone else. Errors in Application a5) You actually have nine warns, spanning from late August to early January. a6) You weren't banned two years ago, you were banned about half a year ago. This was for NITRP | RDM | Textscreen Minge. b2) I don't see why this would make you a good moderator. c1) Very vague punishments, and you don't really define them, just say what the acronyms stand for. c2) You mention raids, but you don't say how NLR specifically applies to them. c3) You don't even try to give a definition. d1) Record your evidence in a video, if possible, and specifically report to an Administrator. d2) Pause your current sit and immediately deal with the MRDMer, then return to your current sit. Pros Ban was a while ago, and last warn was more than a month ago. Cons You're definitely not very active, your application is pretty poor, and you don't demonstrate an adequate knowledge of the rules or common-sense staff procedures. Conclusion I don't think you're ready to be a staff member. You need to be a lot more active and stay on good behavior before I'll consider you ready.
  6. That's a no from me, boss -1
  7. -1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences Never ever seen nor heard of you, and given how often I'm on, that's a very bad sign. Errors in Application c1) Punishments are vague and off. c2) Also the person who died. And you don't mention the NLR timer, or how NLR applies to Raids. d1) Don't confront. Just immediately record them, and report to an Admin, not the forums. d2) Jail and deal with the MRDMer IMMEDIATELY, then return to your initial sit. d3) Hobos cannot build on the streets. Pros No warns or bans. Cons Not nearly as active as I'd like. Application is sloppy and contains several major errors. Conclusion I think you need to log more playtime, and get to know the rules a lot better, and spend more time on your application, before you should apply to be a staff member. EDIT: User just told someone in-game: "shut the fuck up 11 year old kid, go cry on the forums". Extremely immature and not fit for staff.
  8. -1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences I've seen you on exactly once before, and I had to warn you for False Ticket for submitting a ticket that said "this mayor is a fucking virgin". Additionally, you didn't seem to be aware of several basic rules of the server. Errors in Application b1) You don't even answer this. c1) You also don't answer this. c2) You don't mention the NLR timer or go into any detail. c3) Example is extremely wrong. d1) Record and report to an Admin, not the forum. d3) You do not need to warn then immediately, just ask them to stop. Pros No bans, I guess. Cons You have several warns from the last two or three days, including one today. You also don't know the rules very well, have an extremely shoddy application, and generally act like an enormous brat in-game. Conclusion You aren't fit for staff. You need a serious attitude adjustment and you need to know the rules, like, at all.
  9. -1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences The only time I've ever seen you is when I banned you on January 24th. Needless to say, I'm not particularly impressed by your "I was too scared and nervous" excuse, because that is definitely not how you came off last week. Errors in Application b2) What? c1) You don't define anything, as you were asked, or go into any detail whatsoever. c2) Again, you don't really define. You also don't mention the timer, and the examples are vague and confusing. c3) You don't provide an example. d1) Just record and report to an Admin or Owner. d2) If someone is mass RDMing, you jail them immediately and ban them. Pros No warns, but that's only because you've barely ever been on the server before. Cons Very low playtime, and you were just banned last week. Your application is also extremely sloppy and hard to read. Conclusion You are absolutely not fit for staff at the moment. You need to learn the server rules whatsoever, play a lot more, stay on good behavior, and re-apply later. EDIT: User DM'd me, trying to very unconvincingly lie that they did not mean to post their application in this state, and they were being framed by their own brother. I won't post the screenshots here for the sake of privacy, since this person is obviously very young, but any Moderators who want to take a look can DM me on Discord.
  10. -1 You are the second person this week to directly plagiarize Askio's moderator application.
  11. -1 Joke application.
  12. Rule 5 under Police and SWAT in the MOTD states that "Civil Protectors can defend themselves and others from all Attacks or hostile actions without advert." They're allowed to open fire if someone's life is in danger. The "police officers must try to arrest" rule refers to someone breaking other laws, such as having illegal weapons or vaping in public (if that's currently illegal). This is to prevent the mayor from creating "KOS" laws. In any case, Civil Protectors (excluding the mayor) are already allowed to use lethal force against someone endangering the lives of either the officer or people around them.
  13. -1 Won't bother with my usual format because you plagiarized C1, C2, C3, D1, D2, and D3 from Askio's application.
  14. -1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences Seen you on a few times, had some good and bad experiences, but you struck me as someone who doesn't know the rules very well and has a very bad memory. Errors in Application a5) Seven warns. You were warned twice while the application was up, and I probably could've warned you another time for Silent Raid if I hadn't taken your word for it that you forgot. b1) Becoming a moderator out of pure necessity isn't something I look for in staff members. b2) Answer is vague and unconvincing. c1) You don't really explain what they are, just what they stand for. You also don't say what the "required time" is for the ban, or go into any nuance. c2) Again, that's what the acronym is, you don't actually say what it means. Also, didn't mention the timer. Punishment remains vague. c3) Answer is both wrong and confusing. d2) Deal with them immediately. d3) You seem to just copy and paste this answer for anything that asks about punishments. The question is there so you can be specific about punishments-- "required times" doesn't help us at all. Pros Active on the server. Cons Warned multiple times while the application was up, clear lack of understanding of the rules, rushed and sloppy application. Conclusion I don't think you're fit for staff. You need to learn the rules a lot better and stay on good behavior before I think you should try applying for a moderator position.

    My Mod Application

-1 No point in doing my usual thing as there is literally no application to critique. Please use the format next time (this is the second time you've been told to do this):
  16. -1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences I've seen you in-game a bit, and you're extremely mingy and have been warned multiple times while this application is up. Errors in Application a5) You were warned today for silent kidnapping. c1) Punishments are extremely vague and not specific. c2) Doesn't mention the raid timer, and definitions are confusing and only cite extreme examples. d1) Don't do anything but record and report to a higher up. d2) The only thing you should do is jail the MRDMer and immediately deal with them. Then go back to your sit. d3) Hobos cannot build in the streets. Pros You have no bans. Cons Inactive on the server, was warned the day after you put up your application, VAC banned only 100 days ago, doesn't know the rules very well, and past Steam names make me question your maturity. Also, if you're only sixteen years old, how is your steam account fifteen years old unless you're sharing with an older family member? Conclusion Not fit for staff. Recent warns, low playtime, and lack of knowledge on the rules demonstrate that pretty clearly.
  17. -1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences I've seen you on a few times, and had some interactions with you-- unfortunately, many of those interactions were in sits because you broke a rule. You also told me last night that you're new to the server and don't know the rules very well yet. However, other than that, you seem pretty nice. Errors in Application a5) Not an error, but worth mentioning that there are several occasions where I personally could have warned you, but didn't because you said you were new. c1) Punishments are extremely vague-- you don't even really say the punishments, just list off types of possible punishments for any situation. c2) You don't mention the NLR timer, and how NLR works different in Raids and how you cannot interact with your killer for the time limit even if you're in a different area. c3) I feel like you could cite a stronger example, because depending on the circumstances and how you communicate this to your friends, this may not be metagame. d1) Don't report to the forums. Gather evidence and report immediately to a higher-up than the person abusing. d2) The only thing you should do is immediately jail them and deal with them, then go back to your sit. d3) What if they don't stop? Pros Active recently, and has no warns or bans. Generally good behavior-- any broken rules seem to have been a result of not knowing them rather than any sort of malicious intent. Cons As I said, extremely new to the server. Application is full of errors, and doesn't know the rules as well as I'd like a prospective moderator to. Also has been VAC banned less than a year go, which unsettles me slightly. Conclusion You have a lot of spirit and clearly care a lot, but I'd really like you to play on the server for longer and get to know the rules better before you apply to be a staff member. Give it two weeks from this Saturday in which you don't get into any trouble and remain active and I'd absolutely give you a shot. EDIT: User PM'd me acting outraged I didn't give them a +1. Screenshot attached.
  18. I actually like this idea a lot-- I feel like this would encourage a lot of RP interactions and generally make the Godfather and Osama feel a lot more important, as they should.
  19. Neutral (Leaning -1) Thoughts and Personal Experiences Never seen or heard of you before. Apparently this is because you literally just got back on the server, and haven't played since June. I know this because you said it in the Discord (screenshot attached). Errors in Application c2) You don't mention the NLR timer. d1) Don't try to intervene, just record and report to a higher-up. d2) Jail the MRDMer immediately and deal with them, then go back to your original sit. Pros Ex-Staff, seems to know the rules pretty well, pretty decent application. No warns or bans. Cons You haven't been on in more than half a year, and immediately made an application. Your application also has a few mistakes. Conclusion I think you should probably play for a little while to re-familiarize yourself with the rules before you apply again.
  20. +1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences I've seen you on a lot recently, and I've had lots of interactions with you-- almost all of them very good! Errors in Application c1) You don't describe the punishments for RDA, nor do you go into any detail about different sorts of RDM/RDA. Pros Very active and well-behaved, great application, firm grasp on the rules. No warns or bans. Cons Honestly, none specifically that I can think of. Conclusion I think you'd make a great addition to the staff team!
  21. -1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences Seen you maybe once or twice, not as much as I'd like. Nothing notable. Errors in Application c1) Did not describe punishments as asked. d1) Do not report on the forums. Gather evidence and report to a higher-up. d2) Deal with the mass RDMer IMMEDIATELY, then return to your sit. d3) You don't need to warn them immediately. Just ask them to remove their props. You only need warn when they refuse to listen, of if they're willfully breaking the rules and disregarding your verbal warnings. Pros Decent application content-wise. No warns or bans. Cons Haven't seen you on enough, and your application is generally sloppy and has some major errors. You also don't have a functioning mic, which is a necessity. I know you said you'll have a new one soon, but you shouldn't have applied before you actually had it. Conclusion I don't think you're nearly active enough to be a staff member, and you currently don't fulfill the basic requirements to become one. I'd recommend re-applying after you become more active and get a working microphone.
  22. Neutral (Leaning -1) Thoughts and Personal Experiences Never seen or heard of you before. Errors in Application a2) This is your Steam ID, not a link to your Steam profile. c1) This answer is confusing. You sort of describe what RDM and RDA are, but you don't say how you'd punish those infractions. c2) Again, this answer is worded confusingly. Also remember that you can't return to a raid at all until it's concluded, if you die. d3) Give them a chance to delete it themselves, and you don't need to warn them immediately. Just explain that they cannot. Pros Seems to have a decent grasp on the rules, and a decent application. No warns or bans. Cons Inactive, and a lot of these answers are worded extremely confusingly. Conclusion I'd like to see you on a lot more before you apply to be staff, and maybe see an application that's worded a little better.
  23. -1 Thoughts and Personal Experiences I've seen you a few times. You seemed too mingy for my tastes. Errors in Application Other than the mistakes Juarez listed: c1) Punishments are very off, and you don't go into any nuance about specific kinds of RDM/RDA. c3) This is a bad example because normal players cannot spectate in-game, and there aren't really "teams" like that-- I'd prefer an example that actually applies to DarkRP. d1) Talk to an Admin or the owner, not a senior moderator. Pros You've been active recently. Cons Lots of mistakes in the application, recent warns, minginess. Conclusion I think you should get a better handle on the rules and improve your behavior before you apply to be on the staff team.
  24. -1 Not even going to bother with my usual format. You said some extremely and unironically hateful things about the LGBTQ+ community on one of the two times I've seen you, including uses of the f-slur. You justified it by saying they were just "your beliefs" and that you were "a Christian"-- again, completely unironically, I do not believe you were joking and you admitted yourself that you weren't. Completely disregarding the extreme irony and lack of self-awareness needed for a self-proclaimed devout Christian to be so intolerant, multiple members of the staff team are in the LGBTQ+ community-- myself included. You would not fit in on the staff team, and I don't want someone like you working with us and enforcing the rules. You're not fit to be staff, and unless you make some very big changes to yourself as a person, you never will be.
