a5) How many in-game warns do you have?
3, and feel free to ask me about any of them if you'd like.
a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why?
I have, and I know all of these look bad on my record, but the ban was for me in my "rebellious" kind of phase. I just didn't listen to the admin and got banned for it, which was deserved.
a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where?
I do not, but have made another application.
Please answer these questions with your honest opinion.
b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP?
I like to play pretty late at night, and mods are usually not on and chaos is ensuing. I'd also like to be a moderator to ensure that other players don't have the experiences that I do with being warned and all. Going deeper, I see and feel like a lot of players aren't getting listened to because of bias in the staff members. I'm not saying anybody in particular, even those that have warned me, but I just feel as if some of the sits have bias in them.
b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator?
I'd like to say that I am very good at listening to both sides of an argument, and distinguishing who was truly in the wrong without being biased in my answers. I am also pretty patient and like to take my time with situations.
Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions:
c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished.
RDM: Random Deathmatch. RDM is usually defined as when a player has no reason to kill you, and does. RDA: Random Arrest. This is when a police force member arrests you either for an unfair reason, or no reason at all. If anyone commits these acts, depending on the amount or severity, the punishment can vary from a warn to a ban. I also see this as an accident in many places, and if it truly is, they only deserve what the victim decides they do, but I would try to limit it to a warn depending on how many people were a said "accident"
c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated.
NLR stands for "New Life Rule" and displays the rule of not gaining any information before death, and not being able to interact with anyone/anything in the area for the said time in the server rules. An instance where it is violated would be where a player is raided and killed, but he comes back to kill the raiders without waiting out the timer of 120 seconds. And even if he does, you must wait for the raid to finish until they go back inside
c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence.
Metagame is obtaining information that your character would not be able to know in a roleplay scenario, such as using the statistics menu and raiding one of the richest people, or mugging to try to make a lot of profit.
Please explain how you would handle each of these situations:
d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react?
I would record the situation and wait patiently to make sure I have sufficient evidence of the staff member abusing their powers and report them to a higher up to get them punished
d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation?
I would jail the person RDMing, deal with them with a ban, and continue my other sit.
d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets.
Politely ask them to either stop or switch to a hobo and build on the sidewalks. And if they do not, warn them verbally that they will be punished, and the third time, give them an actual warn.
feel free to ask any questions you may have.
