Hi, Yatty You confirmed this. This is against the rules and is considered prop abuse/minge. Considering the fact that you currently have a moderator application up and in your words put "a lot of hours into this server", you certainly knew better than to do this. Coco was warned for this. Twice. One for RDM and another for NLR, the argument that only you were the one who received punishment during this situation is simply not true. At the end of the day I again think that your warning should stay applied to your profile. I'm almost certain that considering your dedication to the server you knew better than to use props to your advantage in a roleplay situation and break the rules. It's only a warning, and I get it that this voids any chance of you receiving a moderator position on the server until you apply again, but I still feel like your punishment is necessary.

Hi Devyn The bans for the two players that were camera spamming have been readjusted for a week for Mass NLR as well. For your friend CoCo, during this time CoCo had repeatedly killed both of them. CoCo never made a single ticket. This here is the entirety of the combat interactions that occurred between CoCo and the other two players. Again, neither I or any of the mods online recall claiming or seeing a ticket made by CoCo except for when, during the sit, I had told him he had to make tickets for these types of situations instead of straight up killing them, and in response he made a ticket during the sit. That's all I have to say. - Joseph

FearRP is commonplace in many roleplay servers and is often discouraged and simply not allowed at all. However, in our server, FearRP is not mentioned anywhere in rules. Despite this, there are still some situation where it is treated to not be okay. For example, if you were to kill a police officer for simply walking towards you with a tazer out, you still cannot kill them until they attempt to taze or arrest you. To resolve this, I think FearRP should be explicitly stated in the rules to not be allowed. This would further discourage FairRP altogether and would stop it entirely. Without FearRP, situations would be more fair for others and would generally enhance the fun roleplay experience. I look forward to hearing everyone's feedback on this. - Joseph

a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? JosephKY a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. https://steamcommunity.com/id/JosephKentucky/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234) Joseph-ky#3147 a4) What timezone are you located in? Eastern Time a5) How many in-game warns do you have? 0 a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? No a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? I have staffed on XenoRP before. I was hired on May 23rd, and was let go on August 8th of the same year due to two activity strikes. The reasons for these strikes were due to family matters that were out of my control and which I had to tend to. In the meantime, my personal issues have been resolved and I should have a significant amount of time available for the server again. Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? I simply wish to support the server and make it a safe and fun place for everybody. A DarkRP server with efficient and quality moderation is a necessity for its existence and for the player's enjoyment. b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? In my time being a DarkRP moderator already, I have proven that I am able to face a situation head-on and resolve it in a way that is both fair and professional. I consider myself a great people-person and the opportunity to help others and resolve problems is an ability that I enjoy. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM is the action when a player kills another person in game with no fair reason that accords with the rules. The way such an action should be resolved is dependent on the situation. If it was simply a mistake or done out of spite, the player should only receive a verbal or real warning. If the person who has RDM'd has done the same thing multiple times in a short timespan, the action may be considered repeated or mass RDM, which would result in a week or two week ban. RDA is the action where a player who is currently roleplaying as any civil protection class with the ability to arrest performs this action onto someone else with, again, no fair reason that complies with the rules. The way a punishment is decided for this is chosen the same way a punishment for RDM is chosen. c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR is the action where a player who had just died in-game for a fair reason returns to the same location, and may also proceed to carry out actions in accord to the situation that they had been in before their death. One example is if a hitman receives a hit on someone, and the person in question is successfully killed by the hitman. The person who had just died proceeds to return to the same location right after respawning, and kill the hitman in retaliation. (This is also RDM) Another instance where this may occur is if a thief has decided to do a raid onto an enemy player's base. During the raid, they die and the raid has failed. But instead of adverting "over", they return to the same location and continue their raid even though they have just died. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Metagame is when a player considers non-rp circumstances within a situation inside of roleplay. One instance where this may occur is if a base owner sees in OOC chat that a player is discussing plans to raid their base. In retaliation, the base owner locates him and kills him inexplicably, calling it "self-defense". Another example of this happening is if a player decides to roleplay as a police officer. They immediately see a thief who is just minding their own business, and they arrest them right away due to their job role. Job roles are not considered a part of roleplay and should not be considered. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? I immediately contact their supervisor and/or the server owner. d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? I jail and mute the mass RDMer in a safe location so that they cannot cause anymore trouble, and then proceed to finish the sit. After the sit is complete, I confront the mass RDMer and, assuming they have no fair argument for their actions, ban them for two weeks. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. I tell the two players that the rules state that they cannot build on the streets. I then kindly ask them to delete their props, and also inform them that they can become the hobo class and build on the sidewalks if they want to. I also refer them to where they can read the rules.

Hi I looked into this myself and I found that Yang and another witness have said that the ULX poll received much positive support for your demotion. Please keep in mind that neither of these polls were votes, only a poll. The rules do say that the mayor is allowed to be demoted from their role if they fail to meet the public's best interest. This was proven to be the case with both of the polls and with chat logs showing disapproval of your management of the city. I feel like your demotion was justified and that Yang (dead body uwu) did not do anything wrong. Please keep in mind that I am a moderator and am not authorized to take any course of action involving this occurrence, I am only providing my opinion of what happened.

Reply 2 I talked to my administrator and he says that this ban will be 5 days. The 5 day ban does not begin when the 3 day ban expires. Meaning, you are not banned for 8 days, just 5. - Joseph

Hi, Michael Yesterday, me and another moderator had a conversation and he asked me to ban you because you were allegedly playing inappropriate videos in the movie theater. I banned you for 3 days, but they insisted on doing it for 5 days. He said banning you again wouldn't add up and it would just overwrite the current one. I took his word for it and banned you again, believing this. I will make sure this discrepancy is cleared up and your ban will only remain for 5 days rather than 8. If you believe that this ban is unjust either way, please message me and I will refer you to the moderator that asked me to ban you. - Joseph

Application is well written and I've never had an issue with you in game. I would like to see you on the staff team. +1

Your application is well written and you have shown a good amount of time on the server, however, you were recently warned twice for RDM. Due to that, I cannot give this application a good rating. -1

At times when a new mayor is needed when there are many players on, the voting for the new mayor is extremely chaotic and annoying, tons of vote windows showing up and blocking your screen. So, my solution for this is to introduce a new election system where only a maximum amount of people can enter the race and the vote is held only one time. Doing this will make choosing a new mayor much more manageable and easy. Below I've attached an image of what this may look like

Hey This was an absolute mistake on my part. I'm having someone unban you as soon as possible. So sorry about this, it will never happen again.

There are times that the laws need to be automatically reset, whether it be the mayor resigning, leaving the server, etc..., where it does not. This is often problematic because the laws still apply until a new mayor is elected and changes the laws. The laws should always be their default when there is no mayor. The laws do automatically reset if: The mayor is assassinated by a hitman The laws do not automatically reset if: The mayor resigns/changes jobs The mayor leaves the server The mayor is banned/kicked What do you all think? Should extra automatic measures like this be added?

Add “Pet Sitting” Channel To Xeno Discord

Awesome suggestion. Pets are awesome. +1 -
Self supplying shouldn't be allowed.
Joseph-KY replied to Dr. Doofenshmirtz's topic in Suggestions/Issues
I personally feel as if banning self supplying would be very unfair and controversial. Just because someone is selling something doesn't mean they're obligated to not purchase their own product. It would be incredibly annoying and frustrating if a gun dealer had to go to another gun dealer every time they wanted a weapon. It simply doesn't make sense and such a rule would have no positive effect on the server. -1 -
a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? - JosephKY a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. - https://steamcommunity.com/id/yeehaw_yipeekiyay_texas/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234) - joseph-ky#3147 a4) What timezone are you located in? - Eastern time a5) How many in-game warns do you have? - 4 a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? - No a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? - I was staff once on a friend's DarkRP server he started which was shut down not too long after. Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? - XenoRP is an incredibly fun DarkRP server that I find to be quite enjoyable, especially when people are following the rules. With that considered, I would love to do anything I possibly can to make XenoRP a safer and more fun experience for everyone alike. b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? - I believe that I would be a good moderator because in situations between two different parties, I am not biased for one group of people or person for any personal or irrelevant reasons. I would approach every situation logically and with a professional attitude. By the end of a sit, I would have come up with an agreeable and reasonable course of action. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. - RDM and RDA have two different, but similar definitions. Both actions are done without any valid reason that abides by the rules/MOTD. RDM is the action where a user attacks and kills another player in-game with a non rule-abiding reason. RDA is the same situation, except the victim is arrested in-game without a good reason, not killed. Users who perform these actions should be dealt with depending on the context of the situation. For example, if the RDM or RDA is done out of spite or just to create a general disturbance for other players, the user should be removed from the server for a days or hours time. Another example is if the user performs the action on accident or without any knowledge that it would be against the rules. In this situation, the user should simply be given a verbal warning or real warning, and then returned to roleplay as usual. c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. - NLR, or "new life rule", is the action where a user who has just died in-game returns to the previous situation and acts and performs as if they were never killed. Some examples of this being done includes, but is not limited to: 1. A player raids someone's base and as they are entering, they cross the designated KOS line and is killed by the base owner. The raider proceeds to return to the base and continue with the raid as if they never died. 2. A player roleplaying as a police officer begins to arrest someone for breaking the law, but as they are doing so, the criminal retaliates by killing the officer. The officer then, after respawning, runs back to the criminal's location and arrests them on the spot. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. - "Metagaming" is the occurrence in an roleplay situation where a roleplayer takes into consideration non-roleplay related things, such as moderators being online, a user's job or salary, or a hitman having the "hit accepted" sign above their head. This is unfair because the following situations in the examples would not be evident at all in a real-life situation, making the roleplay unrealistic. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? - Inform the other moderators and admins immediately, as well as the server owner, of the situation. d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? - Politely tell the person(s) in the sit to wait just a moment, and settle the issue with the mass RDMer as efficiently and appropriately as possibly in order to return to the sit in a justified and convenient amount of time. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. - Inform them of the rule against building in the streets, and advise that they either become a hobo job or delete their props. I would also remember to state that as a hobo they still can't build on the roads, only the sidewalk.

I agree. I think it's the best modern OS by far, and I'm using it right now. I get told to switch to 10 all the time but there's just something about Windows 10 I absolutely do not like and cannot get used to, even if I try my best to. However, I'll probably have to switch to 10 some time soon considering the discontinuation of Windows 7 updates, which is incredibly unfortunate.

Out of all the Microsoft Windows operating systems released so far (95 - 10), what has been the most innovative, fast, secure, and graphically appealing so far?
-
I personally love firefox so much more than chrome. Way more developer friendly, secure, fast, and less resource intensive.

That's a very reasonable argument. The best solution to that problem I can come up with is that the user inventory's their valuables and then goes AFK in a location that is safe, like a dark corner or in a friend's base, or they can type kill in console. Other than that, this is a valid issue.

A lot of users commit failrp by entering spawn again so that they can evade death. This can be fixed if by adding a feature where when a user leaves the spawn protection area, they cannot gain back that protection until they die and respawn, even if they go back to the location. Another improvement that can be made is a restriction where cops cannot arrest people in the spawn protection and people in the spawn protection cannot be bound to cuffs. This restriction does not apply however if the person being cuffed or arrested has already left spawn.
