Yes, a very long time ago, my most recent being false and being removed, any other bans have been because of surpassing the warn limit, I have tried not to be warned and haven't in a good while.

b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP?

I want to volunteer for Xeno RP because there is a lot of minge, RDM etc that happens at night for American mods that can't really deal with it, sometimes the rush of things stops justice from being served and it can become hard for mods to deal with. What I want to do is help the community be satisfied and feel that there is a fair outcome, I've been a heavy user of this server for around a year or two and know my grips around all the rules, I've had a few bad times and arguments with mods but I have attempted to resolve each and have successfully on many occasions. I just think I'd be awake when other mods aren't and I'd quite enjoy the job. I don't like injustice and it feels good to serve it to be honest with you. That's why I've been trying to not get warned and haven't for a few weeks now, primarily walking around and cooping myself up in megabasing recruiting new members

b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator?

I would certainly try and I think I would yes, friends have told me that I would be a good mod and have asked me if I have ever been a mod because of my grasp of the rules, as I have mentioned I would want to deliver fair justice and pay attention to the rules most importantly. In times where there are no mods on due to timezone differences I feel I would make a great addition to the staff team

Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions:

c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished.

RDM stands for Random DeathMatch, this is when a player isn't killed with any sort of valid RP reason, making it random. A valid RP reason for killing somebody would be if they were raiding your base and you defended it by killing an attacker. The punishment for RDM is commonly a warn but if repeated could either be repeated RDM or Mass RDM which is bannable. RDA is Random Arrest, this is when somebody is arrested without any valid RP reason. A valid reason for arresting somebody would be if they were breaking the laws put in place by the Mayor, so for example having a gun out in public. RDM comes in some varieties such as Revenge RDM which I have explained in my NLR section.

c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated.

NLR stands for New Life Rule, it is the rule that declares that in your new life after you have died that you must not come back to the spot that you died for two minutes, although this differentiates in some situations, such as a PD raid or raid where you would have to wait for the raid to end before you come back to that place, this is to prevent the server from becoming an absolute deathmatch, killing somebody while NLRing would be counted as revenge RDM. So, coming back to kill a raider is NLR, going back to where you died is NLR

c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence.

Metagaming is when somebody takes advantage of something that the character you are playing as wouldn't be able to figure out, for example, hearing printers through walls and then warranting them for having illegal printers would be metagaming, rather than seeing them with your eyes. Checking deaths in chat to do certain things such as arrests and killings for party members is also metagaming. Another example of metagaming would be to hold your voice chat button down and seeing who is near to tell who is in a base you are raiding, your character couldn't possibly know that.

Please explain how you would handle each of these situations:
d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react?

I would put in a staff report on the forums showing evidence and reasons listing their name and steamID

d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation?

I could notify the person that I am in a sit with of it, but won't leave the sit and LTAP. I will wait calmly and then make another ticket. If I was myself the moderator in control of the sit I would pause the sit, jail him and possibly ban them right then or wait until my sit is over, they can't break rules while jailed.

d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets.

Put in a player report on the forums with clear evidence of what they did, let that be picture or video and explain the event listing what they did wrong. In the position of being a moderator I would take them to sits and warn them both verbally first, then give them a proper warn if they continue

Conclusion: Overall, I think you should keep the warns down, you have only been active the past few days without any warns.

(Disrespecting staff over discord and forums isnt the way to go)

Pros:

Cons:

Rude and Non Compliant with staff, constantly trying to argue against staff decisions on rules, Has joined in targeted harassment of players. Massive Minge.

 

 

Conclusion: I think if you waited maybe a month or so and kept up good behavior and also didn't do what you did last night and argue with me about your base being illegal for having players go through the same fading doors twice just to get in, you could reform and do good as staff. I recommend perhaps changing who you play with as playing with a better crowd of players might help with your behavior as it will remove peer pressure.
