My name is Noa and I have been playing on your server for quite some time now. I am proud and happy with the experiences I’ve had and the people I’ve met while playing on it. Sadly, this wonderful experience is being ruined because of the harassment I have received.

 

I’ve explored all other options prior to writing this report and I find myself forced to resort to openly discussing what feels like a private matter and going to the forums for a resolution.

 

The continuous harassment and torment have become too much to cope with. It’s affecting me mentally and is hindering me from being able to continue to play and support the server.

 

Over the span of the last few days (6/16/20, 6/17/20, 6/18/20) I have received profuse amounts of harassment, belittlement, racism, sexism, and anything harmful one could say to a person. Not only is this behavior allowed, but it is encouraged by a portion of the moderator staff. I feel the behavior the mods are exhibiting are in direct correlation to the rising amount of discriminatory interactions I have on the server. On top of breaking several MOTD rules, and allowing other players to do so, they also join in on the harassment. The dogmatic attitude of the staff has led me to believe that not only will they turn a blind eye to such behavior but will use their position to make sure it continues to happen.

 

Wednesday June 17th, 2020

                Within moments of being in the server I was kidnapped. I would be killed, and they would come back to spawn to do it again. I was told countless times how disgusting women are and how no one cares, and I can’t stop what’s happening to me. After exhausting my options, I simply stayed kidnapped. Multiple people came into the small space I was being held in. And once one of them caught air that I was currently streaming the behavior changed. They started to say extremely racist, homophobic, and sexist stuff. I couldn’t mute them all fast enough. The amount of times the hard R was used is too many to count. And what started with 5 people slowly turned into almost half of the server. I couldn’t build a base, building sign or not, without having 15/20 people outside my door harassing me. Included in those people were 2 mods. Papa Panda and Belial. Belial partook in the allowance of acts of racism, and panda partook in the endless harassment outside my base.

 

Thursday June 18th, 2020

                Less than 10 minutes of joining the game, I had a few people at my door trying to buy my base. Due to prior interactions I chose to type instead of talk. They were lighthearted at first. They started to raid my base even with the building sign up. A mod (hunt) was in that group of people. They took a few steps in and claimed my base was illegal. Hunt switched to mod on duty and looked at everything. Eventually I made the mistake of using my mic, and the harassment began. The continued to mock me anytime I spoke, talking about how ugly I am. I was killed 3 times during this interaction. After they ended the raid, they stood outside my door to belittle me. Another mod showed up (isunno or something) “I heard about what happened last night.” I cut him off to tell him “yeah and it is happening right now too” for him to follow up with laughing and joining the harassment. I left that base and changed my name. Isunno found me in my other base and looked at what I had. I asked him to leave and after him being vigilant on aggravating me I muted him. He then became a thief and his friends (including panda) began to raid me. I disconnected from the server because I am absolutely exhausted with dealing with it and having to be a good sport. I reconnected immediately because I knew there would be a sit involved. The mod that brought me to the sit was Hunt and he immediately gagged me. So, I left again, because I refuse to talk to the part of the staff that is in the clique of people who want to torment me. He proceeded to ban me for 3 days

 

And that’s where we are now. I play a lot, I love roleplaying. I’ve donated to the server and have made lifelong friends from it. Whenever I stream Garry’s mod on twitch, this is the server I use. And I’ve said so many positive things about the server and the mods. It was only recently this has become a major issue. It seems some people don’t like me and will stop at nothing to get me off the server. I did not ask for the harassment, I did not initiate any behavior that would warrant such acts toward me.

 

I play Garry’s mod because it can get a little toxic, and I find humor in that. I know how people are with ‘girl gamers’ so its nothing new to me. What is new to me is the amount of harassment I’ve received, and that nothing can be done about it because the staff is not only allowing and encouraging it. But also asking others to join in, and even paying in game money for them to do so.

 

Although this seems like a lot, this only scratches the surface of what was said. I don’t feel comfortable repeating everything. You can listen to it for yourself.

 

Along with a few witnesses, the entirety of Wednesdays gameplay is on my twitch vods, which I’ve downloaded for evidence. Upon taking this report seriously, I will provide a vast amount of evidence. I also want to take this time to outline every rule broken in my vod. Since this is the only instance, I have video proof of. They are as follows:

 

Rules:

General Rules

3. Do not discriminate, harass, or direct unnecessarily foul language towards any other players.

 

Social Rules

1.       The repeated use of racial, homophobic, or sexist slurs in-game will result in a reprimand.

2.       Do not spam voice or text chat. Do not use OOC, Admin Chat, or the ticket system for reasons other than their intended uses.

3.       Anything annoying or unnecessary is considered micspam

 

Attack Rules

Raids

2. Players may not raid any one base more than once every ten minutes.

5.       You cannot raid a building that is currently in the process of being raided by another player

 

Kidnappings

1.       Players must wait five minutes between kidnappings.

2.       Players may not kidnap the same person more than once every ten minutes.

 

 

 

Here is a recap of all mods involved. I do not feel the need to state the players because I thoroughly believe that this falls at the hands of the mods, and if they didn’t exhibit such behavior most of the players would not have partaken in it.

I know that you didn't single me out in this but I was apart of the sit that you were in before you got banned today, hunt was not involved in the sit, it was Kil and me. You were not gagged in the sit, you were brought into the sit and we were mid way through explaining what you did wrong and you left the sit.

Sorry for the incorrect names. Thats on me. But as for not gagging me, thats is also incorrect information. I'm sure theres logs on it. Multiple people saw it. We're currently trying to get the chat log to provide evidence of this.

So to explain what happened I get a ticket from adam west basically saying you left during a raid, I brought you and you instantly started talking over me and as i tried to state multiple times to create a staff report if you were having troubles with staff members but you insisted on arguing over the staff member's "harassing you" I gagged you and then you instantly left before I could finish the sit so i banned you instead

First of all, Hunt did nothing wrong. I personally believe you just don't like us and are out for our heads. Also, you legit have no evidence on hunt or issun. Another point is I had no power at the moment. Also, I remember hearing you blatantly admit to repeated RDM yesterday (5 day ban). You can't say I harassed you when I didn't say a single negative thing towards you. If I did, show me the proof. Another thing is nobody is gonna sit through your stream. Clip it or something. Oh wow, so you blatantly lie because you didn't get your way?

I was taking a sit, which was that people thought your base was illegal. I had no take in the harassment against you and was waiting until all the players left to talk to you about the illegal things in your base. I tried talking to you in which you said, "I'm just going to find another server to play on". I waited a bit and then flew off because I thought the situation was done and logged off. 

I also NEVER brought you to a sit after you rejoined. I left, and never gagged you or banned you.

So why lie about things that never happened? I removed the players from the base to try and talk to you, yet you were stubborn because you didn't get your way immediately. I'm not responding after this, so if you have questions talk to me on discord. Have a great day or not, the choice is yours.

First off, I came to the base upon hearing you were harrassed and proceeded to apologize about the humbug that happen, in which you basically spat at me rather rudely, to which I flew away. Afterwards I saw you had what looked like 6 fading doors, so I flew in to ask you and just make sure that the base was following regulations, in which you again spat at me even more rudely. So. Case spoken.

Hooold up. I'm in this report (one of the screenshots) but I literally did nothing, nor am I staff. All I did was join the discord and send an unoffensive meme video of a dude screaming while lifting weights. I was then promptly banned afterwards. No other messages from me were sent. You guys clearly didn't even watch the video because it was deleted before the video's duration had run out.

I was not part of any raid. I joined after reading your staff report and seeing the Discord link in your Twitch.

I don't even think things that happen off the server's community are a bannable offense anyways.

Perhaps you should include more proof than the users who join and leave your discord? I don't want my reputation ruined from lies.

Since I'm now involved in this report in a way, I'll add that from what I watched on the stream, you were being rather toxic to people who did nothing to you (calling people pussies and shit) and breaking rules as well (propblocking and NLR repeatedly happened, thats a definite), along with your partner who was also breaking rules. Also, some of the people you reported aren't even staff. I'm not saying that any of this deducts from what actual staff really did, as there are some clear violations here, but clearly both sides are in the wrong in some way and nobody here is innocent (except, of course, the staff who are innocent).

To start, I suggest leaving that other discord. It seems pretty dang toxic, and it's not the discord us at Xeno moderate. If it's the discord you run, I suggest you ban/mute those offending people in your discord. We don't condone that behavior, but we are not the internet police. We do not moderatore or enforce our rules on communities we are not a part of. I'm not sure what you want from as as far as those random discord screenshots go?

Secondly, I'm very confused as to the specifics of what happened. You had names confused, and I'm genuinely confused as to who did what. Can you provide who did what, as well as providing specific timestamps in the stream. It's unreasonable to ask us to watch a 3 hour stream.

After this point, If you're not mentioned in the specific timestamps/ specific incidents mentioned after this point, please do not reply to this thread.
