Sammerson
a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? Sammerson a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. https://steamcommunity.com/id/Sammerson/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie:ImNotPhantom#0001 ) Samm#1024 a4) What timezone are you located in? EST a5) How many in-game warns do you have? 0 (Were they reset?) a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? I don't believe so? I might've banned myself before, but I can't remember a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? Yeah, I've been smod here once before and regular mod twice Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? I love the server and it is a good time filler, also being a mod is just fun for me. Since I don't exactly have a job anymore, I have a lot more free time, and I miss Xeno b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? My prior experience from staffing and not being awkward in sits. Previous staff could know that I'm (normally) patient with players and can take a joke. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM = Random Death Match, when a player kills another player without an RP reason, or for some weird RP reason that doesn't make sense RDA = Random Arrest, explains itself, when police arrest somebody who was not breaking the law or simply don't have an RP reason to be arrested for c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR = New Life Rule, returning to a raid before it is complete or an area within 2 minutes of your death (And remembering RP from your past life, and acting on it) 1. You're raiding hunt. You kill hunt. Hunt comes back and kills you while you are still raiding 2. Someone attempts to kidnap you, but you kill them before they get your hands tied. Then, them immediately running back towards you to kill you c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Metagaming is when you use information that your character would otherwise not know, or could not do Hearing clickers in a base, then warranting the player to raid them Someone saying their base code in OOC, and then using that code to raid them (Bullshit, I know, but is it not?) Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? you yell at ghosty ghost until you get demoted // Report them on the forums d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? Pause the sit, Jail the player, ban the player for 2 weeks (1 week if TMod, and request an extension), and go back and finish the sit d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. Tell them that no matter how many players are online, the rules still apply, and if they continue, they will be warned Link to comment
