a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? I used to own my own dark RP server with similar rules. I know how to code lua and the basics of running a server. I shut my server down due to monthly costs. I've been an admin on a CWRP server called Spirit Of Gaming.

Please answer these questions with your honest opinion.
b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? I have been apart of many dark rp communities in the past. After spending a lot of time on this server I have found it to be one that has a great community. I want to give my time to help improve the overall satisfaction that players receive when playing on our server. This will include helping enforce our rules and assisting in issues where necessary.

b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? I have a lot of patience and I'm very good at listening to peoples complaints and problems. If I get moderator I would only use my commands to better meet the server's needs. I'm a very reasonable and friendly person. Additionally, I will assist newer players on any questions/concerns they may have. I 'm also on at really crazy hours where most staff members wont be on. This will help the server maintain crashing and other problems that occur when a staff member isn't active.

Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions:

c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM stands for Random Deathmatch and is when someone kills another player without a valid RP reason that follows the !motd. The extent of the punishment depends on the severity of the situation. If it is someone's first offence they will be let off with a warning. If someone mass RDM's then they will be possibly banned. RDA stands for Random Arrest and is when a player arrests another player without a valid RP reason. Again it depends on the extent and this one usually is harder because you need to really listen to the situation to determine if the arrest is valid or not. First offenders will get warnings while mass offenders will be banned.

c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR stands for New Life Rule and is when a player returns to their last death location immediately after they die. It is also when you remember information on your last death and use it in game. It is violated when a player returns to their base being raided after they died defending it. It is also relevant if you use knowledge from your last life. Such as player locations, or the last person that mugged you after you didn't comply.

c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Metagame is when you gain access to knowledge that would otherwise not be presented in game. A clear example of this could be looking at the player menu to gain knowledge and then using it in game. An example of this could be if you use the in game menu to find out who has which job. Or using information from OOC chat to further influence your in game actions.

Please explain how you would handle each of these situations:
d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? I would first inform them of the powers they are abusing. They might not even know they are abusing these powers. I would then contact a different higher up about the situation and explain what happened. People make mistakes and it depends on the severity of them in order to determine the actions that are needed.

d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? I would freeze the mass rdmer and deal with them after the current player I'm handling. If I have other staff buddies online I would ask them to assist with the mass rdmer.

d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. You cannot build in the streets reguardless of the amount of players online. I would tell them to change to the hobo job to build outside as long as they aren't blocking door access or building in the streets.

Good application, experienced in areas of need. 

You seem like you really want this, and are dedicated to learning and improving. 

Cons:

D1 - You should also try to obtain evidence of the staff member abusing their power. Video, screenshots, anything helps when dealing with punishments. 

D2 - You should also get their steam ID while they are frozen, so that the RDMer can not LTAP. 

I have personally only seen you on a few times, but I might have just missed your name in the list. 

 

Overall good application, and I think you can be good for the staff team.

Great application. Have had good interactions, nothing bad. 

You built a man out of bottles and called him coronaman, which made me laugh. That's the type of player I would love to have on the staff team.
