72scout
a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? 72scout a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198280032131/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234) 72scout#0529 a4) What timezone are you located in? Eastern Daylight Time (U.S.A) a5) How many in-game warns do you have? I have no in-game warns. a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? I have never been banned off the server. a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? I was an Admin on another DarkRP server called MelonRP. I served as a staff member for 3 months before the server shutdown. Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? I want to volunteer for XenoRP for several reasons. To make the XenoRP experience more positive and enjoyable would be my top priorities as well as conversing with other players and finding ways to improve XenoRP both as a server and as a community. b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? Qualities that would make me a good moderator/staff member on XenoRP are my prior playing/staffing experience on other DarkRP servers as well as my time on XenoRP, ability to communicate with other players reasonably/logically, and my intent to make XenoRP a better playing experience. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM (Random DeathMatch) is a term used to describe a player who kills another player randomly/illegitimately according to RP Rules (Ex: Hitman blatantly killing the wrong target). There are several types of RDM (Revenge RDM, Mass RDM) and are punishable with a warn (Except Mass RDM). RDA (RanDom Arrest) is a term used to describe a player who arrests another player randomly/illegitimately according to RP Rules (Ex: Swat arrests Hobo for being homeless). There are several types of RDA (Revenge RDA, Mass RDA) and are punishable with a warn (Except Mass RDA). c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR (New Life Rule) is a term used to describe a set of rules preventing unfair advantages and instances of metagaming (Ex: Player returning to a raid after their death, Revenge RDM/RDA, Using RP information from your previous life). c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Metagame is a term used to describe a player using non-RP information in their RP experience to gain information or perform actions otherwise oblivious to their RP character (Ex: Police raiding a Meth Cook because of job status alone, Using information from OOC in RP, Using RP information from your previous life). Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? Under these circumstances, first I would record the higher ups and their abuse. Then I would submit the evidence to another higher up (Owner, Admin) and assess my availability in case of further discuss/debate regarding staff abuse. d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation?Under these circumstance, first I would pause my current sit and deal with the Mass RDM'er (Jail/Ban) then return to the previous sit to complete it. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. Under these circumstances, first I would provide the players with a verbal warning to remove the props and remind them of the building rules in XenoRP. Next, if they fail to listen, I would warn them for breaking RP rules/noncompliance with a staff member. Then, with further offenses could result in more warns, kicking of the player from the server, and in extreme cases, a ban. Link to comment
