b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP?

As stated in my previous staff experiences I played on ASAP, while it is a good server it plays more like a Player Driven MMO then DRP. There is nothing wrong with this but I have been playing gmod for the past five years almost and I sort of want a more classical DRP experience. XenoRP provides that experience and in my opinion it is what makes the server really special compared to other DRP servers. However, when I am on the server daily I see a lot of MRDM, MRDA, and other forms of rule break for the most part there is always at least one staff member on and these situations are dealt with quickly and professionally. Sometimes though there are no staff on, this usually happens towards 12 at night EST when I play a fair bit. I would like to help the server by being on in the time where there are no staff online, and help out when I can when there are 50 players and a few staff on. 

b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator?

I have around 7,040 hours on Garry’s Mod, most of those are active hours since I usually don't leave my computer running when I’m not on it. In those hours I have seen and done a lot. This has allowed me to rake up plenty of experience when it comes to DRP and other game modes such as CWRP. A lot of this experience was gained as a staff member as I generally attempt to become a staff member on server’s I end up playing on daily. All this experience and time has allowed me to be in many different situations and learn how to deal with them. After four years of this I believe I have gained enough knowledge and experience to handle almost anything on Garry’s Mod. Another reason I would be a decent moderator is my attitude towards others. I try not to be salty or toxic while I play and very very rarely get into arguments with other players regardless of the situation. If others attempt to instigate an argument I try my best to ignore it to avoid any unneeded toxicity. 

 

Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions:

c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished.

RDM: ‘Random Death Match’ is the act of killing another player without a roleplay reason to do so. A single offense would be a warning, however multiple RDMs would be considered MRDM and would result in a ban.

RDA: ‘Random Arrest’ is the act of arresting another player without a roleplay reason to do so. A single offense would be a warning, however multiple RDAs would be considered MRDA and would result in a ban.

c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated.

NLR: ‘New Life Rule’ Is the act of using information in your past life to influence your actions in your current life. 

Example 1; Garry the cop is killed by Bobby in a PD raid. Garry then immediately comes back to the raid and kills Bobby.

Example 2; Smithy is raiding Mike, Smithy kills Mike. Mike after dying returns to his base one minute later while Smithy is still raiding.

c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence.

Metagame; Metagame is the act of using OOC information IC.

Example 1; Jeff says in OOC “I have sooooooo many illegal guns on me right now”, David the cop sees that. He then sees Jeff on the street and instantly tazes and arrests him for illegal firearms. 

Example 2; Martin the SWAT Officer hears meth sounds coming from Tez's home, Martin then places a warrant out for Tez for ‘Meth within home’.

Please explain how you would handle each of these situations:

d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react?

I personally have OBS, so if I saw for example a Senior Moderator falsely banning people for kicks I would record it and send it to a Administrator, and make sure to grab the IDs of the falsely banned people so they can get unbanned. 

d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation?

I would simply ask the people in the sit to give me a quick second. I would jail tp the MRDMer to me and resume my original sit. Once that sit is done I would go and make sure the MRDMer actually MRDMed and deal with it based on what i find out. 

d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets.

I would ask them to stop, as although there are only two on rules still apply.

To start, holy heck do you have a ton of staff experience. A bit concerning that you've only stayed a few months with each, though. Application looks good. Overall, good job
