Lolagaf
a1) What is your in-game (RP) name? Lolagaf a2) Provide a link to your Steam profile. https://steamcommunity.com/id/Lolagaf/ a3) What is your Discord Tag? (ie: SomeUser#1234) Lolagaf#7193 a4) What timezone are you located in? Eastern Standard Time a5) How many in-game warns do you have? Zero Baby a6) Have you ever been banned? If so, explain why? I do believe I have a couple, maybe three. However, all of these were false, either from some hacker using the same name, or from a misunderstanding to where I was unbanned immediately. a7) Do you have any prior staffing experience? If so, where? I was a SeniorMod for this server a couple months back. I took a break over the summer because I was working multiple jobs and had other priorities. I was a staff member here for close to 10 months I wanna say. I could be wrong on that number though. I know it was a long time. Please answer these questions with your honest opinion. b1) Why do you want to volunteer for XenoRP? I recently joined the server again and thought something was missing. I am happiest on the server when I am enforcing the rules, and I enjoy making the community a better place. I think at certain times the staff might need help, and I am here to provide that help. b2) If you were to get accepted, what do you think would make you a good moderator? I have previous experience on the server as staff, as well as my dedication to the server. I am very fair with players and I can tell the difference between a minge and a player who just made a simple mistake. I always take the time to hear out both sides, and make both parties happy. I am also on college time, so I can be on the server when most other staff is at school. Please provide descriptive answers for the following questions: c1) Define RDM/RDA and describe how players who perform those actions should be punished. RDM- Random DeathMatch. This is when a player damages or kills another player without proper reason. I think that players who RDM on purpose should be warned/banned, and honest players who mistakenly rdmd should be jailed to read the rules. RDA- Random Arrest- This is the same concept of of RDM except it is when you are arrested without proper reason. I think the punishments should be the same. Players who break either of these rules repeatedly deserve a ban. c2) Explain "NLR" and provide examples of instances in which it is violated. NLR- New Life Rule. This is a part of the RP scene. NLR time is 2 minutes. This means you cannot return to the place you died for 2 minutes, with some exception of RDM. This also means you cannot remember anything from your past life, (such as where someone is, where someone is raiding, how much health they have, etc). This rule is most commonly broken during raids. You are not allowed to return to a raid after death period, even after 2 minutes. c3) Define "metagame" and provide examples of its occurrence. Metagaming is using knowledge in game that you would not know in a real life scenario. This includes hearing printers through walls, holding your mic to see who is nearby, using advert chat to know certain events are happening, and im sure i missed a few. Please explain how you would handle each of these situations: d1) You see a higher up is abusing their powers to the highest severity, how do you react? I am actually very familiar with this, as I got a staff member demoted through this process. You get evidence (pictures, video) of the staff member committing the abuse and send it to their "boss", which would be an admin, or head admin. Although at first I would talk to the abusing staff member to make sure they know what they are doing is wrong. People make mistakes sometimes. d2) During a sit, you see someone outside of the sit Mass RDMing. How do you handle the situation? The first sit is the priority. Thus being said I would jail the RDM'r and continue with my sit. Another mod could ban the RDM'r or I could do it once my initial sit finished. I would apologize if the RDM'r interfered directly with the sit I was in. d3) Only two other players are online, and they're building in the streets. Although it is tempting to let them continue, it is still breaking the rules. I would explain this to the players and tell them how they can get around it, such as building in certain popular hobo spots or building inside a warehouse. I would do my best to not ruin their fun, but also make sure they follow the rules. There are no exceptions for breaking the rules. I know I have only recently joined the server back, but I am just throwing this up there. My schedule has freed up to where I can comfortably play this game now. Thanks for checking out my app, as is was rather long. If you want to see me more active I understand, just casting my line. Thanks y'all. -Lolagaf Link to comment
